you need to clean the heatsink of the processor remove it from the motherboard by turning the lock to counter clockwise to 90 degree only all four lock then pull it up gently check for the thermal paste if it is dry you need to add a new thermal paste before you add make sure that you clean the back of the processor or remove the old paste that already dried out, just a small amount you need to apply, then before placing back the heatsink to the processor make sure you already turn the lock to lock position by turning it clockwise 90 degree then make insert it correctly to the four holes in the motherboard then press the lock down slowly to lock one by one,

Hey, i'm sure you've moved on to another monitor in the past 4 years, but just so you know I had the exact same problem with a cousin's monitor of this type. I've been dinking around and pushed the "auto" button often and held it down a few times. randomly, it started working again! no idea how this problem started, but having at it with the auto button seems to do it!
I had the same problem and changed light control module and now it works. It is above the swing down fuse panel
under the dash on the driver side. Swing the panel down and you can
slide it back a little and it will release. You can get these from a junk year for around $10 or less.
