If you're referring to the small light, just above the fan blade icon on the control panel ... that's the fan speed. It reverts back to LOW each time the unit is manually turned OFF. I that's the one you were referring to, it's nothing to worry about. If you want to raise the fan speed to HIGH, press the fan icon.

Hope this helped to answer your question, Christina. Please let me know.

, My KM30 Dehumidifier t'stat will not reognise ambient humidity properly. I placed the unit in my boat-steamy 80% humidity at 50%. it consistently turned itself off. Ok on 35 and Lo.

there is a sensor in the unit much like a temp sensor, (bullet shape) over time these do ware out and need to be replaced this tell the unit the temp so the unit knows humidity. it could also just need cleaning as a build up of damp then dry dust can cover the sensor.

Followed turn on instructions in manual.CO display 2 days. continually. Unit gets Very warm & fan runs if turned off. Have to unplug to stop. Unit used approx.3 mo in '14 & just restartd this week.

could you be mistaking the room humidity indicator for the time? reason I ask is on these one display units this happens more frequently than Id care it too , the one display shows both time and room humidity also set point humidity , the only way one can tell is on some models there is a tiny light that shows up next to labeled function , easy to miss It , also if your machine is sort of new (last few years) it has been decided that it's more efficient to let the circulation fan run all the time , regardless of room humidity . this makes it a little annoying (noise) but they do cycle the compressor to regulate the room humidity

I would go to a box store and get a guage that displays relative humidity and see where it settels at. Your humid may actually be low.

Unir ran good for 8 months then cut off with current humidity reading LO. Humidity is not LO. Have to set below 40% then runs all the time. The AUTO humidistat sensor must be broke. 1 year...

In addition to a faulty humidistat sensor, there are 5 basic, yet solvable reasons for what you described. Please pay particular attention to numbers 1 & 2.

1. The humidity extraction level is set to HIGH. Lower it to 32-35%.

2. Air intake filter is dirty or clogged. Turn unit OFF, & Unplug the
Unit, before removing to inspect & clean it, if necessary. If washed,
allow filter to completely dry before reinstalling. DO NOT operate
the unit without the filter.

3. Obstructed air flow. Maintain a minimum of 12 to 18" of clear air
space around the entire unit.

4. Cooling coils are dirty and need to be cleaned. Use warm water & dish washing liquid to
clean the coils. Rinse and wipe dry. Apply a light coating of WD40 to the coils.

5. Ambient air temperature at floor level is between 40 - 60 degrees.
dehumidifiers do not work well between those temperatures
(Unless, you have a Low Temp Unit). This applies mainly to
where the air temperature at floor level is colder than at shoulder level
in basement applications. Raising the unit up off the floor,
onto a sturdy table, counter top, etc, that can handle the weight
of the unit, plus a full tank of water, will usually resolve this
problem.

If none of the above solves the problem, contact Haier Customer Support
1-877-337-3639, before your warranty expires.Haier units will generally show an E1 code if a sensor or circuit is faulty and unit will not run at all.

I hope this helped you troubleshoot & solve the problem

WE have a model DE45EJ - T. The humidifer is not pulling in anything or making any noise or doing anything at all. It says Lo in the bottom reading.

The "LO" in the bottom reading, Indicates the current humidity extraction setting. If the unit was operating properly not that long ago (A couple of hours), the reason it is not doing anything, maybe that there is no humidity above "LO" = 30% at this time. Once it the humidity level rises above 30%, it should turn ON and function normally.

Also, was the timer set to turn the unit OFF at a specific time?

If the unit wasn't working properly a couple of hours ago.

Check the air intake filter for excessive dirt or clogs. Turn the unit OFF & unplug it before removing the filter. While the unit is OFF, remove the bucket, empty it if needed and carefully replace i, making sure it is fitted properly in to it's holder.

Air obstruction: The dehumidifier requires an minimum of 12" to 18" clear air space around the entire unit.

Hope this has helped you further troubleshoot and solve the problem. To assist you further, in case you have misplaced yours, I am including a link to your Owner's Manual that you can download and print for future reference. http://www.haieramerica.com/en/asset/product/4ba7175e54

Unit will not run and the code 'LO' show up. What does the 'LO' code mean?

Hi, it simply means that the humidity level is lower then 35% the lowest setting on the dehumidifier...

It runs, the fan works in Hi and Lo, the compressor seems to work, it seems to blow warm air if the compressor is running and cold air when it is not. The mode switch does something but I am not sure...

Take it to a metal scrap yard and turn it in the copper and buy a new one. Buy a different brand.
Sorry to be so blunt but dehumidifiers are very cheap and disposable not many people work on them. If this help please rate me and do a testimonial.

The dehumidifier wont work even the lights was on and it show Lo all the times and we do not know why it happen and how can we get it fixed as we live in Oshawa, Ontario?

I found this on the web

Q - Will my dehumidifier work in a cold room ?

A - A dehumidifier will not operate satisfactory in a room that is below 65 degrees F. At this temperature it will become necessary to operate the dehumidifying coil below freezing temperatures in order to reduce the relative humidity to a reasonable valve. Frost on coils usually will appear.

I would imaging that the humidity is already lower than the dehumidifier could get it down to. that's why it reads "Lo" on the display.

Humidifier stopeed working

You have a bad fan motor. Put your hand against the grill to see if there any air movement. You need to buy a new fan motor assembly, it is attached by two long
bolts, easy to swap, except the wiring may not be easy. May have to cut the 3 wires and resolder. Get to the motor by removing the back panel and then the fan. Removing the fan may not be easy, they put some gunk on the spidle thread.

The cheapest price I have seen for the motor is $27-$28, shipping about $8 and tax
about $1.5.
