Getting very muffled sound usually could be attributed to either the cables supplying the speakers being bad or torn speakers. The cable problems usually should be traced as far at where they get connected to the unit as a breakage in any of them could cause such problems in the speakers.
Secondly the main speakers in the speakers could be torn therefore the bad sound being produced try to get all the component speakers checked to ensure that they are all okay. if after checking these the speakers are found to be good then try an alternative sound souurce to ensure that the problem is not from the sound source instead of the speakers.

Marshall mg 50 dfx amp sounds muffled?

Turn off the effects or go inside and unplug the little sound card. It is only a few samples of real effects, not the real thing. It's like a cheap PC sound card separate from the other components and has a small power plug on it. Wiggle that plug or unplug to see if it changes. It won't cut her sound, just the effects. Make sure the effects are off and verify, if using a footswitch, that it is working properly.

Sound gets muffled at certain frequencies. Please Help!

I think that rather than the mixer, that your front speakers may have a limiter built into the high frequncey amp. You may be asking them to do more that they are capable of.

ONLY GETTING MUFFLED SOUND FROM ONE OF MY MACKIE SRM V2 SPEAKERS,HAVE CHANGED DIAPHRAM BUT PROBLEM STILL THERE

If you've changed the tweeter and the sound is still muffled the fault is with the HF amp, or the cross-over. You will have to send the amp assembly for repair as it is all surface mount components in there -nothing you will be able to fix yourself. Sorry for the bad news!

No notes on my guitars e string will bend

Hello
Have a look at the neck part where the strings move through that aligning unit which has the 6 slits cut into it where the strings goes through at the top of the guitar neck.

What usually happens, the slits get worked out, thus the strings move fractions closer to the fret board which will result in a muffled sound if you press down on the string you get a fret buzz. This happens when the string touches the fret board on more than one spot.

When you play a solo you can get a muffled sound out of certain strings. This happened to me, i just replaced this unit, very cheap, and all was fixed. Hope this can work.

Best regards

Amp volume is irregular, jumpy, and produces a muffled tone

SOunds like the emulated line out is the problem IT may be defective. Is this a button or a knob? It may have dirty contacts and MIGHT be able to be cleaned with electronic contact cleaner.
