Help follow-up T, dont' know if you saw my followup message, but wanted to make sure...I had a question you answered earlier today about the panasonic pt47wx53 where you recomended I get new/better parts to replace the IC's and resistors. Do you have any recomendation on which parts I should use for the IC's and the resistors, or is there a kit I should purchase? Also, which resistors that are around the IC's should I investigate for replacement? Again, thanks for any help you can further add...

Scott737,
There is no kit for your repair. If your original IC's = STK392-110...
quality Sanyo-made will cost you $14.00 - $16.00 each.If you buy Panasonic packaged IC's,the part # is C5AA00000203 and they cost about $30.00 each. Use an ohm meter, your eyes and nose to locate burned resistor(s).Usually one or two 6.8 ohm
1 watt light blue color a total of twelve, I think.....However,your next step is to order / purchase first grade IC's = Panasonic is going to be your best choice.........and some 6.8 ohm 1 watt
resistors.....

Terry.

How to erase messages on land line Panasonic phone answering machine Model # KX-TG885SK ?

Do you want to erase all messages? Are you looking at the handset, the base or are you calling the KX-TG885SK remotely?

1) At the base, press Erase during playback of a message to delete the current message. To erase all messages from the base, press Erase twice when the phone system is in standby mode (no active calls/incoming calls).

2) From a handset, use the menu to access the Answering Device sub menu and choose play new message or play all messages. (Alternatively, press Menu # 3 2 3 to play new messages or Menu # 3 2 4 to play all messages.) During playback of a message, press * 4 or pause the message. After pausing the message, highlight Erase and press Select. Confirm this. To erase all messages, choose Erase All messages (Menu # 3 2 5) and follow the prompts to confirm (highlight Yes and press Select). You can also press * 5 to erase all messages from the Answering Device sub menu.

3) During a remote call, *4 and * 5 work as above when using the handset.

See pages 70, 71, and 74 in the operating manual. The manual is available on the Add-on Handset page: https://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/telephone-handsets/KX-TGFA61B.html . The current link to the manual is http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TG885SK/OI/TG885SK_PNQP1397ZA/TG885SK_PNQP1397ZA.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do I retrieve messages on the Panasonic KX-T7030 phone?

  • Call into your mailbox (usually by dialing intercom 165)
  • Press 4, and 4 again (for "Incomplete call handling")
By default, three options are enabled:
    option #1: leave a message
    options #5: call the operator
option #6: return to top menu
  • Follow the audible prompts to disable options 5 and 6

Here are some other features you may need

  • Make sure your Auto Answer button is lit up, so you can receive intercom announcements, and respond hands-free.
  • Use the Call Forwarding (FWD) to send un-answered calls to another phone or to voicemail
  • Press BGM (or 1 on the touch-tone pad) for background music, if your system is equipped.
  • Use Absent Messages to show text messages on other people's phones when you are away.
  • Use System Call Waiting so your phone will ring even when you're on the phone. Press Intercom and dial 7311 to set it up, or 7310 to cancel.
  • Use Do Not Disturb (DND) when you don't want to receive calls. Press Intercom, press FWD/DND and dial 1 to activate, or 0 to cancel.
  • Press MESSAGE when you call a busy intercom number. This will turn on the MESSAGE light on the other phone, and the other person can tap that button to automatically call you back.
  • If you get a busy signal when you call an intercom number, you can signal the other person by dialing 1 (if that phone is programmed for System Call Waiting (above).
  • Dial 330 to make an announcement to all phones.
  • If you want your phone to automatically select an outside line when you pick up the handset, press PROGRAM, dial 99, dial 12, press STORE, press PROGRAM
