I need a belt diagram for a 1991 jeep cherokee laredo

Thank you for the inquiry.
Visually inspect the fan shroud, Top radiator brackets, or power steering pump for decal.
If unable to locate your can logic it out by just matching the inside grooves with the grooves and the flat side with the flat outside pulleys. It will make make sense when you carefully look at it. There is only a few pulleys and a couple of idlers to thread and frap it around.

The tension for the belt is adjusted with the altenator.

Can't find serpentine belt tensioner on 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee

right, for the 4 liter,
  1. Loosen the rear power steering pump mounting bolts using a ratchet and 13mm socket or a 13mm box wrench.
  2. Loosen the pump upper pivot bolt, lower locknut and the pump adjusting bolt using a ratchet and 13mm socket or a 13mm box wrench.
For the V8
  1. Attach a socket or wrench to the pulley mounting bolt on the automatic tensioner and rotate the tensioner assembly clockwise until the tension has been removed from the belt.
  2. Remove the belt from the idler pulley first and then from the vehicle.

Drive belt came off pulley loose on 2007 jeep grand laredo

The center pully is the IDLER PULLEY.
It is also referred to as the TENSIONER.

It has a coiled spring that creates the belt tension. Replace it ($15) (and the belt) ($8).

Hope this helps!

2000 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 liter engine timing belt replacement

If you have the same pulley arrangement that most 4.0 engines have that pulley is an idler not a tensioner. Your power steering pump has a pivot bolt, and a slide under the pump. You adjust belt tension using the pump.
