My mouse key keep moving auto... and automatically keep on clicking on different programs... i guess i need to lock my laptop mouse for this but don't know how to lock my mouse in dell inspiron 1525

Use a temporary external USB mouse, Click Start button from your laptop. Type "mouse" in Search Program & Files, click mouse under control panel. click Hardware tab,click properties, click change settings, click driver tab, check if the device is enable or click update diver or rollback driver if necessary.

Your taskbar could have moved because of a glitch in programming or an inadvertent mouse click while you were focused on something else. The latter is more common and is usually the result of an unlocked taskbar.

For the quickest route to returning the taskbar to the bottom of the screen, first place your mouse pointer over empty space on your taskbar (space not occupied by an icon or a button indicating an open program) and right-click. Look near the bottom of the menu that appears for the "Lock the Taskbar" listing, and make sure there is no check mark next to the listing. If there is a check mark, it means the taskbar is locked and cannot be moved, so click on the listing to deselect (and unlock) it. With your mouse pointer again over an empty space on the taskbar, click and hold the left mouse button and then move the mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen. When you release the left mouse button, your taskbar should have moved. As long as the taskbar is unlocked, you can also vary its height. Hold the mouse pointer over the upper edge of the taskbar until it becomes a double arrow (pointing up and down). Then click and hold while you drag the upper edge of the taskbar to the you desire.    • 3 Locate the "Scroll" button at the top-left of the keyboard. It is under the volume panel and between the "F12" and "Pause" keys.

To go system restore, click the windows button, porgrams, accessories, system tools, system restore. Also you can turn on mouse keys by press shift continually, use keyboard to navigate to setting. When in settings use tab the get to the mouse tab, tick actuvate mouse key tab and save setting by pressing ok or apply. Turn on number lock to use... 8-up, 2-down, 4-left and 6-right. Goodluck!

what OS, XP? operating system? is it?
using only one mouse? the built in mouse pad or it and a plugin mouse at USB port? or external wireless mouse.
we cant see what you have there, nor what are are using now.

if the PC is not infected.
click control panel, the click mouse icon there, bingo change mouse actions.
or reload the HP mouse driver.

this might be a problem with the mouse lock..
check ur mouse lock button just above the mouse pad.
if its locked, unlock it & try again.

if its not locked, then go to device manager via right clicking My Computer, properties
select mouse device & expand the tab
uninstall the mouse, dont worry it can be done without mouse.
now press the windows key from keyboard, and restart ur system via pressing Start key, +u, +r for windows Xp & for Windows Vista, press ALT+F4 then select restart.

After ur machine boots up, it will automatically detect the mouse & reinstall the required drivers. its done

In windows xp go into start menu, then into control panel then click on appearance and themes, then move your mouse over to mouse pointers click on it , uncheck "enhance pointer precision, and click apply, that will stop the mouse from acting crazy, this will work with dell mouse pointers and most.

hold down the fn key and press the scroll button.
