How silly to replace all the capacitors without knowing they were bad. Usually the problem in these is NOT the caps. You say it is a problem with the power. That is NOT a symptom that gives us a clue of how we might help you.

NOT a fuse... thaat person knows nothing. There is something wrong for sure. Check if one of the buttons or keys MIGHT be stuck down (depressed). Sometimes the units check that all the control buttons are up and they don't really tell you why they fail to start. Beyond this a repair shop is in order.

I recently had my fender acoustasonic telecaster checked out because the volume kept shorting out. It seems the volume pot was dirty or had a short. Took it to my local fender guitar and fender electronic...

If the problem is actually the volume knob, then the guitar shop did not fix it and you should bring it back. There is a test you can do to see if the problem is your volume knob. With the guitar unplugged, you can turn the knob up to the max and down to the min a lot of time (like 50-100 times or more) plug it back in and see if the problem is a little bit better, if it is I would bring it back to the repair shop and demand they fix it properly.

The problem could be the cable you are using. Sometimes it can seem like it's a volume knob problem when really it's a cable issue. Jiggle the cable and connector while the guitar is plugged in to see if the sound cuts out at all or you get crackling.

Wurlitzer organ model 4060 will turn on but only buzzes-no sound

Haven't had the pleasure of working on one of these in a while!!

The problem is most likely dried up capacitors in the power supply. Any audio shop should be able to work on this. They may require you to remove the power supply though. There are folks that repair these in-home as well. It may take a little research, but check with local music shops for someone to repair this. The parts cost will likely be in the $40 range.

MY Fender Passport P250 went into protect mode. I changed the FUSE at the power supply with a new fuse. Still it is in Protect mode. How to fix this

This needs to go to the repair shop. The protect mode is turned on when either the power supply has a problem or one or both power amplifiers have a problem. These are often blown components.

These units are HARD to work on. To open you have to first remove then front panel before you can remove the back panel that has the power supply and power amps/heat sinks.

Compare repairs of these units to working under an automobile dashboard!

Hint: On startup, use a series 150 wat lamp to limit current while repairing. SInce these use a switching supply operating off the input line, use an isolation transformer for personal safety.

Fender Rumble 100 210 pop noise then hum after strong low e note

I just fixed my bass amp with a similar problem last week: the problem is related to a loose connection on the PCB board (likely).
A bass amp is a rough place for circuitry: the low rumble and power shake a bass amp more than a guitar amp.
In my case, the power transistors needed to be re-soldered and then the grounding bolts and screws needed to be removed and cleaned because the connection was bad. Remember that when two different metals needed for an electric connection are toughing, there is the likelyhood that corrosion WILL happen.
My bass amp did basically the same thing yours did: sounded good at low volumes, but at higher volumes it would act up.
In short, there is nothing you can do (unless you are a repair person): you need to take it to a local music shop and have a tech fix the intermittant contact problem: someone who knows what they are doing should only take an hour at most.

Hope that helps!

Replacing the low-mid pot on a Fender Rumble 100/210 bass amp

To answer your question: YES and NO this is an easy fix.
Yes if you have the tools and knowhow, and NO if you don't know what you are doing.

There are high voltages in an amplifier that can persist even when the power is off (I have a Laney amplifier that will remain at several hundred volts for days after the power is off). There could be enough voltage stored in the capacitors to give a fatal shock.

At a minimum, you need a voltmeter, soldering iron, some 64/40 rosin-core solder, the replacement part.
Such a fix is pretty cheap for a repair shop. This is about as easy a fix a repairman can have, but thats because they know how to get in and do it without getting hurt.
I work on amplifiers and build them, and always take each time I reach into an amplifier that has had upto several hundred volts seriously. I know that I would charge no more than 1/2-3/4 hour shop time for such a fix plus parts (or about 30-ish bucks). I would think a local shop can do this for you at no more than 30-45 dollars per hour shop rate. Any competant repairperson should only take 15 minutes or so after the amp is out of the case: more time is spent getting it in and out and being safe about it with this type of repair.

Hop that helps!
