If the unit is set up for either(with the thermal trasnfer option- ribbon unwind and rewind assembly) you can use either ribbon- with thermal transfer stock, or direct thermal- with direct stock.
You can tell the stock by rubbing something across the stock to see if it will turn black, that is direct thermal stock.
If using direct, go into the setup and select media type- direct thermal.
If using ribbon- use thermal trasnfer option. But remember to install ribbon before calibration as ithe printer will error on out-of -ribbon.

What exactly do you need to reprogram?

You simply install direct X, It should come with the media, You have to have a card that supports the direct x featured and to use feature direct X 10 you need vista, for direct X 11 you need windows 7. I do not think there is anything requiring 11 though.Check your graphics card support and make sure you have installed at least direct x 9c redistribute, It should be in the installers on your disk.

it is easy.3)reasons for this problem.the first.it needs a good graphic or you dont have enough memory. or the disk is not good.

or you need a newer version of direct x or the game is broken or direct x is broken.
i think there is somthing wrong with your game.

You need to get the Direct Cable for iPod® (CA-DC300U) from panasonic. This allows you to plug in and control your ipod from your headunit. There is also the expansion module (CY-EM100U), however I am not sure if this is necessary if you have the Direct Cable. The Direct Cable might plug directly into the back of the headunit without the need for the expansion module. Check with the company before purchasing one or both. If the direct cable requires the expansion module, then get both, however, I think the direct cable works independent from the expansion module. Again, contact the company about this. The expansion module also lets you plug your ipod as well as other devices into your headunit, however I don't think it allows you to control them via the unit. I think if you want to control the ipod from your headunit, you just need the Direct Cable for Ipod®.

This is a known problem my friend... The Dell Media Direct Software requires a different partition to work (except version 4.0) so here is what you need to do... You need to boot using the Dell Media Direct Disk n let it create a partition for itself... then go about reinstalling your OS n then once the OS is installed then pop the Dell Media Direct disk back in again n complete the installation....

Direct (and Dish) may not have codes available for all brands and models; I know that from personal experience.
You need to got to Direct TV's website to obtain a current list of codes. Even if they have some for Emerson, they may be quite limited in their usefulness.
