My friend turned of webcam and i can't turn it back on.

Plug in the webcam
Go into your Control Panel and navigate to Device Manager
Expand the Imaging Folder and right click on the webcam text
Select 'enable'

It won't turn on

are the drivers for the webcam installed?......a driver is the computer program that runs the webcam.....you can get most drivers for free at driverguide.com

When i turn my webcam it doesn't work.

The first step to try is to uninstall and reinstall the hardware. Right-click on your My Computer icon, then select Manage. Highlight Device Manager on the list, then find your webcam in the list of hardware. Right click on the webcam in your list, then select Uninstall. Once completely uninstalled, reboot your PC. After your PC is back up, reinstall the hardware. Make sure you use the driver CD that came with the webcam. Hope this helps!!

Go to Start - Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Device Manager - Imaging Devices and enable the Webcam (Right-Click on the device and click enable)

If this does not solve your problem, go to the Asus Website and download the newest drivers and software for the webcam Install the software and you should be in business. Asus support can be found at the link below.

The WEBcam driver needs to be installed before it will work.
