We have an RCA Scenuim that was purchased in 2003/04. TV has worked great until yesterday when the screen wen all red. Sound still works. I felt it is likely the bulb, of which the TV has 3, but everyone I talk to says you cant get the bulbs anymore. The original installer essentially told me if i find the bulb he will install. Any suggestions?

firstly check that the 3.5mm plug has the same number of contacts as the original there should be 4 segments

The three rca plugs are coloured red white and yellow
white is left audio,red is right audio and yellow is video
usually composite video.
some tv,s have an rca input some have two
and some have rca outputs
the sockets on the tv are also coloured to match the plugs
please check that the plugs are inserted into the correct
coloured input sockets

I would plug in the 3.5mm plug then the yellow untill i get video,once i have video i would connect the red plug untill i have sound,same with the white

I have an RCA Scenuim too. Try unplugging the TV and disconnecting everything from the TV and then hooking everything back up again.

Can you see a picture at all or is it completely bright red? Is there sound?

A white screen means that you are not getting any signal to your lcd screen. That is the job of the T-con board. The T-con board is located on the backside of the screen attached to it. You can get parts from www.interliquidparts.com

take to a service station i think just changing the displsy IC would do . but check in service centre

the 5 blink error is caused by faulty capacitors on the power board. There is a kit called the ATC336 power supply repair kit which contains the replacement capacitors and instructions that will usually repair that. You can get the repair kit at the following link.

INTEGRADO DE AUDIO RCA F19431

TV worked FINE for the past 2 yrs---this morning we woke up and the screen is totally BLACK! No sound..nothing. REmote doesn't do anything to the TV. Red light says ON unless we unplug it. Remote won't turn off the TV.
Any advise? Picture tube??
Worked great w/out any problems until we woke up today!

? What is the model # off the back ?

Does the video work on the RF coax cable input?

For instance,as a test,can you hook-up from VCR coax RF out

to TV coax in,put the TV on Chan. 3,play a tape and get audio and video?

 

Are you matching colors when trying the A/V inputs?Yellow,red,

and white out of DVD to yellow,red and white in on back of TV?

Then select video input on tv===dial "00" or use input button on

original RCA remote. Are you using original RCA remote that

came w/TV ? Do you have the owner/operator manual for the TV?
