There isn't anyway to bypass the security pattern on an android device. So basically the only option you would have is to do a factory restore and start from the beginning. You can also use this opportunity to update to the newest firmware if you haven't done so.
The update can be downloaded from here.
After downloading copy it to the root (not in a folder) of an SD card
ensuring that the file is named 'PD_INX7E_ENG_6410POP.ZIP'.
Insert
your SD card into the external SD slot on the device. With the device
off, press and hold the volume up button. While continuing to hold the
volume up button, press and hold the power button. Continue holding
both buttons. The 'Cruz' screen will come up and then an android screen
with a status meter will come up. Now release both buttons and let the
update apply. When it's done the device will reboot and should start
normally.
This does clear the internal memory of the device, so
you will lose all the programs that you've installed. Any data on the
internal SD card and external SD card will not be touched.
