Sanyo DP42849 in particular is known to fail into a mode where it would not want to power on and this would have nothing to do with the power board and bad capacitors.

Please note that this does automatically mean the problem is NOT in capacitors or that the problem you have is the same that they are known to develop.

If anything, most Sanyo models are also known to come in several , often completely different sub-models (they call them chasis), so for example Sanyo DP42849 chasis P42849-03 is completely different from chasis P42849-04.

Plasma and LCD TV sets are prone to having capacitors in the power supply section fail. This is the most likely cause for the probem you describe. When capacitors fail your will commonly see one or more of the following symptoms.

  • No video, Power light is on or blinking.
  • TV is making a clicking noise.
  • TV takes a while to come on
  • Screen is very dim or flickers.

Again, You can get a power supply repair kit with the parts, detailed instructions, and support from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com . Or just click here to see more details on their kit.

Here are pictures of capacitors...Notice that the ones below look bloated. They have failed and will need to be repalced.

REPLACED POWER BOARD AND THE T V IS DOING THE SAME THING LIGHT COMES ON FOR A FEW SEC. THEN GOES OFF AND ON AND OFF

  • CoppellTVRepair.com Jan 09, 2013

Didn't you read the top rated solution? You should have. The problem is not in the power board at all...you can change it all day round and it still won't make a difference.

Need additional assistance...03 raptor 660, new plug, new oil, new fuel, clean fuel filter, clean petcock, cleaned carbs 5 times, used wire to clear jets(from one solution earlier), readjusted air screws...

how is the fuel flow? i just went rounds with a mower and it turned out the tank vent was faulty stopping the amount of fuel flow to the carb. it would flow fine for a minute until it needed air in the tank and then would stop.

I got a Samsung Gravity and it wont turn on.

dear,

if your phone dropped in water then the first step to be done is immigately remove the battery and then let it dried through a table lamp. you should keep it under 100 W test lamp at a distance of 5-6 feet. if it worked fine after dropping in water and again shut off then open the cover and do this method..

goodluck....
