Turn the dial to off position wait few second, door should unlock. Unless you try to open it during cycle, it won't open. Otherwise, follow owner manual. call the manufacture.
This worked for me and saved me the $69+ service call. I found that there is a small plastic piece hanging down inside of the cover that will allow the door to open. Mine was stuck shut and full of water and clothes. Opening the door allowed me to get the wet clothing out and then was able to **** the water out of the drum faster. I found several bobby pins and hair ties stuck in the impeller. Upon removal, it works just fine.
