My ps3 head set has said paired but not working , why . this 2 one ive got same problem.

The headset only works for games that support headset communication.

With that in mind, after you successfully pair a Bluetooth headset with your PS3, you need to verify that it's currently being used by the system.

- - - - - - - - - Skip this section if you've paired the headset already - - - - - - - -

To verify that the headset is paired, go to:

XMB (main menu) > Settings (second icon from the left) > Manage Bluetooth Devices (5th icon down) > [name of your Bluetooth headset] under Device Name with a blue dot next to it

-If you don't see your headset under there, select "Register New Device" on the bottom of the screen and follow the prompt

-If you see the device name, but the dot to the left of the device name is black and not blue, turn on your headset and on your PS3, highlight the headset device name and press the Triangle button and select "Connect"

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Finally, to verify that your headset is being used by the system, go to:

XMB > Settings > Audio Device Settings (7th icon down)

From here, make sure that the Input Device shows the name of your headset's device name- if not, highlight Input Device and press Up and Down on your controller to select the headset.

Next, you will do the same thing for Output Device- select your headset device name if it is not shown.

Once your device name shows in both Input and Output Device areas, you can talk into the headset and you should be able to hear yourself. Adjust the microphone volume by changing the number next to "Microphone Level". The bars on the top of the screen in Audio Device Settings should move and respond to speaking into the microphone.

Finish by selecting OK on the bottom of the screen to save your settings. Don't hit the Circle button or else the changes may not save!

There is no selection for the headset on my 2310 enhancement setting. I can't play my radio.

The headset is selected in auto mode as you plug in and must work with the radio selected.

I want to on fm without Head phone...i need code.

If you mean Nokia 2310, I don't think it's possible to play radio without headset connected to the handset. I don't believe, nokia has ever developed such a model and moreover it's impossible to play radio on nokia phones via bluetooth. If you mean other model, do let me know. Or is there any other application installed on your phone to run the radio? But in fact the handset needs the headset to run radio, so that i'll act as an antenna. Somebody uses the cut-out jack of the headset to play radio. You can try a trick, play the radio, put on the speaker (loudspeaker), then remove the headset, if it's working you are lucky. But even with Nokia N95, it's not working.
If you are sure that you are asked a code to access the radio without headset, let me know with more details.
Thanks.
Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Need help

While signed in, press the center button on the controller, (between start and back), select the settings blade highlight preferences, press A, highlight voice, press A, turn volume all the way up, (you can control this on your headset), under microphone make sure mute is NOT highlighted, under voice output select "play through headset".

If that doesn't work then try cleaning off the plug end on your headset and controller port.

If wireless headset, try turning off all unnecessary wireless devises to eliminate interference. In rare cases high electromagnetic fields can interfere as well (turn off unneeded electrical devises and retry)

If none of that helps try a different headset.

Good luck.

Problem connecting headset via bluetooth on PC

You have to press the button to turn it on and hold the button pressed until it flashes red. Then you go in the control panel , bluetooth options, click it , and then go in the find devices options. When the computer finds the device you have to use the option to put your documentation key and use this default number 0000.

Conclude your installation.

How do i connect my HBH-600 bluetooth headset to my phone?

hi thanks for using fixya!

Connecting a Bluetooth headset or hands-free speaker unit to your phone involves setting the headset to “discoverable” mode; check the headset manual for how this is done, as it varies by type and model. You’ll also need to find the headset PIN code in its manual – this is usually 0000 or 1234, but again it varies.

Go to Bluetooth menu – from the main menu highlight Settings (Figure 1), click Select, and scroll right to highlight the Connectivity tab. Highlight Bluetooth (Figure 2), click Select and then highlight Handsfree (Figure 3) and click Select.

When prompted to ‘Add a handsfree device’, choose Yes (Figure 4), and your phone will look for all discoverable hands-free units (Figire 5). Select the one that you want from the list that appears and enter the hands-free unit’s PIN code when prompted. The pairing will now be complete.

Once paired, you’ll find the headset listed under the My devices menu in the Bluetooth settings area, from where you can connect and disconnect it.

Hope it will help you. If you need further assistance, let me know!

Regards!

Radio

Hi lukky

You need the headset to priovide an aerial(in the headset cable) to the 88-108 mhz FM receiver in the phone. The required legth for that is about 90cm. So, unfortunatly, you have to have the headset for the antenna. Without it, the phone just cannot pickup the signal, and hence will not allow FM to be selected until you connect the headset. Sorry mate,.:)
