While taking prom photos, the screen turned to all vertical lines, and you couldn't make out what I was taking a photo of. I took the photo anyway and it came out the same. Just a lot of vertical lines. I didn't change any settings or do anything different that I know of. What do you think could be wrong. It did it a few times about 10 minutes apart with good photos taken in between.

Why are there vertical interference lines (coloured) on viewing panel and on photos?

if you are getting lines on screen and photo then there is probably something wrong with the sensor.
If it was just the screen its dead pixels in the screen. Unlikely to be a foreign body, eg hair or dust, inside as there is no way to open this camera up like a dslr.
to test this just take a photo of a plain grey card, and check the result.

Just one, or many? Could be needing a new ink cartridge. If its just one, possible your carriage is having an issue, or your paper.

I don't known what i did, i couldn't find my pictures in the sd card, if i deleted them. can i replace them? please help me, thank you!

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones:

I borrowed a Caplio R5 camera, have taken some super pics, but couldn't download onto computer. So took the memory stick to Boots and their developer couldn't find the photos. Put the memory stick...

The Photo's are currently stored on the cameras internal memory, you'll need to transfer them to the card using the camera's menu options.

Failing that, plug the camera into your PC and switch on, a box should appear asking you which programme would you like to access the new device with.

Select the folder option, then click on and open any folders therein, one will be the camera memory the other the card memory.

I have a casio exilim ex-z1080 and whenever i take a photo there are vertical lines on the screen, it has only just happened and even when we download the photos they are showing up with vertical lines on...

Are the vertical lines on the images when you view them on screen, or only after you print them on a laser printer of some kind.
If the lines are on screen, your issue is in the device sensor.
If the lines are on printed images, try aligning your print heads (use your printer utilities whenever you replace an ink cartridge), or take the images to a kiosk (Kodak and others have those at verious retail outlets).
Good luck!
