SOURCE: I have an old hitch mount bike rack : Thule

You have to buy a women's bike adaptor, (about $30) and it is a bar that makes the frame like a mens frame. Bike shops sell them.

How do I get the upper rack arm back on the rollers?

The back endcap on the slider has snaplocks that has to be squeezed then pull off. This should allow you to pull the slider out and then guild it back over the rollers and into its proper place. Just had to do this, and it's hard to get to with the door down, but can be done.

Will my class 1 hitch support a hitch mounted bike rack and bikes?

perhaps. It is always best to check with the manufacturer of the bike rack you will be using. Some manufacturers do not recommend the use of their racks with class 1 hitches. Those that have bike racks to work with class 1 hitches typically have very specific weights, specifications, and may even limit the number of bikes allowable. Just remember, when calculating the weight of your load don't forget to add in the weight of the bike rack itself. B&W Trailer hitches are great for this job.

Middle arm loose

Hello Mike Hilgers - There are two main reasons why the middle spray arm could possibly be loose. Either it is not installed properly or the bracket that mounts it to the bottom of the rack is broken or loose. Carefully remove rack, spray arm and reposition correctly with all rack wheels inside rack slides. If you have already done so, replacement parts may need to be ordered or it could possibly be a more serious issue coming from the interior dishwasher.

Will using an exercise bike help to define my arm muscles?

No because your arms are stationary on the handle bars thewhole time.

How do you install rear bike rack on a bike with disc brakes?

Depends. If it's a frame with the rear caliper inside the rear triangle the rack will usually bolt right on. If it's a frame with an IS mount caliper hanging off the back of the seatstay you will usually need a to use a longer bolt and a spacer to let the brake and rack share a mounting point. If it's a bike with a post mount brake you will probably have to improvise something. P-clamps can be helpful.

Mounting method

I know you said you don't want to remove the front wheel but here are a couple of options for that if you're interested: http://www.yakima.com/racks/bike-racks/p... http://www.hurricanecomponents.com/press... If you don't want to remove the front wheel then you'll need to use a type of rack that has the hook arm or cradles to hold the bike. Thule makes a version of the T2 for truck beds....it's pretty nice. Or just use a hitch rack....the T2, Yakima, and Saris are all pretty decent and it's a snap to load and unload the bikes. They're all in the $320-$360 range, but it's a good investment.,,,
