When I attempt to autoscan, the process stops at 87%. I've tried to give the system time but it still wont complete.

Autoscan again, when your channels are all found, stop the scan before it gets to 87% by hitting the menu button again. all you channels should be there and working.

Engine light stays on

okay, this is a 2005 trail blazer with code co063.
i am sorry but the code is no good, co063 or c0063
try to rescan the code or go to an auto part store like an auto zone and they will scan for free otherwise with out a good scan tool the codes are generic and lots of times the codes wont cross to a good code.

LCD 32 inch Auto Scan issue

I have experienced exactly the same issue on two Westinghouse sets. Try turning the set off when it reaches 83%. When I turn mine off and back on, it has saved the channels -- at least the ones it had found before it got hung up.
