My lg flatron l1732s model shows osd locked when i press its menu button. what to do?

OSD LOCKED/UNLOCKED
This function allows you to lock the current control settings, so that they cannot be inadvertently changed. Press and hold the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD LOCKED" should appear. You can unlock the OSD controls at any time by pushing the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD UNLOCKED" should appear. system admin

Press and hold the MENU button for about 5 seconds. This should unlock the controls. On some monitors it will be the power button that you need to press for 5 seconds to unlock.
If none of this works, it may be a malfunction needing servicing.

Press and hold menu button for a few seconds, pressing and holding, acts as a toggle. So if OSD LOCKED still appears, pressing again UNLOCKS.

The OSD can be enabled or disabled by pressing and holding the Menu button on the front panel for 10 seconds. If the OSD is locked, the warning message OSD Lock displays for ten seconds.

On screen display is locked. Fix it by:

* If the OSD is locked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to unlock the OSD.
* If the OSD is unlocked, press and hold the Menu button for 10 seconds to lock the OSD.

change all pressing keys..then press menu key 15 seconds for unlocked.

Press the menu button and hold it in,it will flash up OSD unlocked after a while

1. replaced the control panel micro switchs.

2. press the menu switch 15 secunds.

I am not sure if this applies to this model.

Hold down the menu key for more than 10 seconds, and see if this unlocks it.
