I had the camera on and tried turning it off, but it froze. It won't stay on now and the lens is stuck open and when I push the power button, it buzzes then makes three beeping noises and shuts off. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello Doris, You can "GENTLY" try to push the lens slowly back into the camera with the palm of your hand, note I said gently and slowly, do not use force !!! Then turn on camera and see if this helped, if not it is repair time.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
It's probably a lens related problem. Blow through the lens to remove any debris stuck inside. Or tap your camera repeatedly while the lens is facing the ground.
The lens may be fixable but most likely will need to be replaced. If the lens is stuck straight or won't come out at all it needs to be replaced. If the lens is stuck at an angle then you may be able to snap it back to the center by pressing the edge of the lens back towards center while holding on the outer ring of the lens. Hope this helps!

If the lens on the camera is stuck out,
look to see if it's a little crooked. If it is, try to gently straighten it.
If it still won't retract, try to gently push it in as you turn the power
on. If it won't turn on (the green light blinks and it beeps 3 times) push
and hold the 'power' button and the 'play' button at the same time for a few
seconds - it worked for my S730. Good luck!
I have the same problem. Its actually because the On/Off button got pushed in somehow and its stuck. At this time right now, im not sure how to make it unstuck, but sometimes it will stay on. But when you push on, since its being held down, its stuck that way and immediately turns off because its still being held down constantly. Maybe try using a thing needle to try and push it out?
