This problem has nothing to do with water in the machine. My IQ300 regularly refuses to open on the drying cycle! You have to open the small round compartment beneath the door and pull down on the black plastic strap to the right - you may need a utensil to pry it out. What a rubbish machine.

SOURCE: washing machine

is all the water out of the machine if not the door wont open.
if all the water has gone, have a look behind the small flap on the front of the machine where the filter is and there might be a small plastic loop which when pulled should release the door catch.
please note i say might as some models have this feature and some dont.

hope this helps

SOURCE: how do you deactivate the

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Couple of things-
Just in case no-one else answers (I don't know how to release the child lock on your particular machine) methinks you need a manual! You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)

Now- is it showing 'child lock' on or just not releasing the door?
If it's just the door I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If these have assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

SOURCE: I have a Siemens WM14S794GB

F-23 is an error due to an internal leak inside of your machine this is usually due to a bad seal between the inner and outter tub also if done by a technician a very costly repair in which they usually charge 4-600 for the repair itself includeing the parts. If you feel you are capable of doing the repair the parts are the inner and outter seal and sold as a kit usually for around 90-110 dollars and you can find the parts at www.marcone.com under contact us there is a 1800 number as well as an overseas number if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations when our chat has fully concluded Thanks Rick

Hi

It is your pump that is failing / bolked with hair and treds behind the impeller. The pump is not the best design as ther can enter smal treds and hair behind the impeller into the paking ring (seal). There is only one sollution that help - change the pump. Can be don from the fron of the mashine. Only one screw on the right side has to be removed to remove the plastig cover and the one screw to losen the pump.
