Common problems on Sharp LCD tvs as tv it is agings,tv Power LED and OPC LED,LEDS lights flashes happen to mine Sharp tv many times and i had it two years,do this many times,tries to turn on the tv.By trying pushes the power button the remote again if OPC LED and power LED,LEDS lights flashes together.Everytimes the OPC LED and power LED lights flashes,just push the power switch on the tv remote and wait for the tv main Tuner signal board to kick in the backlight to light up tv to work.Have to do this like three or four times before the power supply board to kick it in to make Tuner signal to work.If u require to this more than 5 or 6 times the main tv Tuner signal board it is shorting out and beyond trying to kick in by the power supply board.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.

I'd try a different tcon board, if your set doesn't have one replace the main board, if that doesnt fix it chances are really good you have panel issues, and the set isn't repairable

With the tv on place a bright flashlight against the screen. Look for moving image around the flashlight. This show an image is getting to the screen but you need a back light to see it.

For an LCD tv you need to replace the back light inverter board.
Since you did not give a make and model I can not help locate the board. You can do it.

Hp laptop doesnt boot it is always black and nothing shows up
Its probably caused by the RAM, have it checked. If you can do it yourself, remove the panel cover underneath the laptop and clean the RAM as shown in the image below:

(The actual RAM in your laptop is shorter than the RAM on the image.)

Install it back to the computer and turn it on. If problems persist try another RAM, it may already need replacement.

Bravia & Sky+HD, aspect problem
There is nothing wrong with you Sony Bravia TV and it suppport all HD and SD formats.

Are you viewing the HD version of the channel when it is showing a standard defination show. e.g SKY1 HD instead of SKY1.

This means that regular standard defination shows are in a 4:3 ratio and does not fill the whole screen. In order to view these type of shows you will need to tune to regular channel instead of the HD version.

You can check if a show is brocast in HD by going into the tv guide and checking for the HD symbol in the programme symposis.

u have to ser yr tv resultion and do as same as tv in to yr laptop after that it's a tool given by drviers chek that this avalable in display propeties>setting>advance>adapter.. here u have all kind of setting avalable...:)
