Move the top shelf to the second set of wheels, it moves it up enough to clear the plates.

Can I turn the beeper off on the end of the washcycle on the DDY062 Hoover dishwasher. I want to put it on timer delay and dont want to be woken in the middle of the night.

These are the instructions taken directly from the DDY062 manual:
Alarm mute for the PROGRAMME END
The alarm for the programme end may be muted as follows:
IMPORTANT The dishwasher must be ALWAYS off before start this procedure.
1. Hold down the "PROGRAMME SELECTION" button and at the same time switch on the dishwasher by pressing the "ON/OFF" button (a brief audible signal will sound).
2. Keep the "PROGRAMME SELECTION" button pressed for at least 15 seconds (during this time, 2 audible signals will sound).
3. Release the button when the second audible signal sounds (3 "PROGRAMME SELECTION" indicator lights will come on).
4. Press the same button again: the 3 indicator lights (which indicate that the alarm is activated) will start flashing (to indicate that the alarm is off).
5. Turn off the dishwasher by pressing the "ON/OFF" button to confirm the new setting.
To turn the alarm on again, follow the same procedure.

Powerpoint dishwasher flashing E1 any solutions please

E1 is commonly know as a leakage error which occurs due to the excessive RPM of Washing Motor happened during Wash cycle due to water leakage. To start with check if there is a water leakage in hose connections, motor water seal leakage of sump assembly or water is leaked due to damages. Replace the connections of Hose if bad. Also check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts.

Dishlex Global 300 Dishwasher - ECO Light flashing - Manual indicates incorrect fill level - Manual suggests hold ECO button for 10 Seconds. No success. Have tried pressing and holding buttons - no...

eco light sometimes indicates that water has got into the bottom panel of the machine. A float switch is underneath to protect the machine ( and your kitchen floor from being flooded. ( Either from overfilling or a leak) If you tilt the machine backwards see if any water runs out. If the machine restarts , then you will have sourced the problem. Should the flashing start again later, you may have a water leak underneath. Also check the lower door gasket to make sure its clean. If the gasket is dirty, sometimes water builds up behind the gasket and drips over the front of the tub into the bottom panel underneath causing this symptom. When cleaning the gasket, be very carefull!! The edges of the door at the bottom are razor sharp..

Hoover HED 6612/1-80 dishwasher all four lights flash and beep whilst the machine drains, after a couple of minutes the beeping stops but the four lights glow. Cannot reset to cancel. Also still makes...

Not sure if you have got a user manual for this dishwasher. You can download one from this site.

You have a flood situation inside the dishwasher. See page 12 of the manual. There may be no water at the bottom of the machine but there is some overfill occuring. Also see error codes on page 13. This can be either because the flood detection circuit is faulty and giving false trigger or there is water in the base of the dishwasher housing due to leaking door gasket or hoses.

Some things to try. Turn mains power off and back on and see if there is any difference.
If not, then turn power off and pull dishwasher out from the kitchen benchtop. Put a few towels on the floor and tilt the dishwasher side to side on the base and see if any water comes out. Wait 5-6 minutes and turn power back on. See if it makes any difference.

Gurgles with no water coming in; keeps trying to run with door open.

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

When the door is opened do the lights all flash, or are the flashing regardless if door is open or closed ?

Based on your description I`d suspect the unit has sensed an overfill problem...the flashing "LED`s" is how the Asko indicate this scenario.

The gurgling is simply due to the drain pump being on continuously.Though you say the machine is empty, the overfill basin may be full of water.

**Turn off the power to the unit via the house breaker before attempting any repairs or service**

If you remove the toe panel/kick plate below the door, check to see if the basin is full of water or has any sign of water being present. If left several days it will typically evaporate and appear to be normal again...until it overfills again.

There are other factors which could cause this of course, including a faulty pressure switch, but we can go down that path once you inspect the overfill basin for water.

Good luck.

HOOVER HOD6615 DISHWASHER CONTINUAL BEEPING AFTER INITIAL RINSE & REFUSES TO PROCEED TO WASH CYCLE WHATS THE PROBLEM?

This could be a safety trigger due to bottom water leak. A anti flood device (polystireen float and micro switch) that switches washer in shut off mode and does not continue until the water leak (pipe or hose clamp) that causes the float to trigger the device. Check the bottom of the washer for traces of water and rectify any leak before the washer will continue.

Overfilling fault

I believe the washer has had a flood type situation.there is normally a flood switch in the very bottom of the dishwasher right at the very floor,if water get into the bottom tray it floats a piece polystyrene foam wich triggers a little micro switch wich will run the pump continually & show Overfilling fault at the same time..The water in the tray needs to be mopped out with a rag or spunge so that the styrene foam can drop back down. The blockage you had may have caused this flood situation some how.The overfill fault was probably due to the washer not pumping out,So that may be ok now that you have cleared the blockage.hope this helped.

Indesit IDL 500 Pump noise when switched on not continuous, sounds like it is acting in surges, and the pre-wash indicator light flashes in time with the surges. Is this a fault, what is the solution?

this indicates that there is water in the base of the unit activating the safety float switch... usually a leak..or an overfill due to blocked filter
Power off & remove plug
1st port of call would be to drain the base by pulling forward and tipping back.. make sure you have large towels to hand...
Once drained power up again and put on quick wash...
if cycle completes verify no leak by tipping back again and no water should flow..
if there is a leak then the flashing would resume during cycle... and best get someone in to locate as there are a few possibilities...

Kenmore ultra wash 665.16761690

If it is not overfilling, and then leaking, the whirring noise can be a defective water inlet valve, that stays stuck on open, see here : It's overfilling

If it is not overfilling, the two problems may be unrelated, and the noise can be froma foreign object inside the object trap.

See here about leaks and noise

It's noisy

It leaks
