My Tork 1101 24 hr timer has stopped working. I hear it running, but the clock will not turn. I have to turn it on and off manually for my pool pump. This happened 2 years ago, then the following year it was fine, now it is not working again. What am I doing wrong?

I have a t103 timer but the clock does not run, the pump does.

This is a simple wiring problem. If it will not work when plugged in then the wiring for the clock will need to be re-attached. If you have the skill then do so, or take to a local small appliance repair shop. This will be an easy fix.

Hi,

You press and release the mode button, then press the adjust button. This is what the instructions say to do. However, I see that you don't have an adjust button listed. I would try pressing and releasing the mode button, then pressing the ZONEDATE button and see if that will do it.

If this works, please place a vote for me. Thanks,

I can't find the manual and need to reset the clock. Help!

We have no idea what product you're talking about. You've posted it in the "Vacuums" section of the site, but I can't imagine your vacuum has a clock unless it's one of the new Roomba robots with the timer on it. Post the question again, and include the exact part number of your vacuum.

I replaced a Intermatic light timer with a GE 15086 timer. I have read several solution, but none fit my wire sceme. This is hooked up as a 3-way switch so the second switch can turn outside lights on...

1) GE 15086 is not a 3-way timer.
GE programmable timers are for single-pole switch replacement only. I have tested this timer, and own several GE timers, and many other brands.

2) Open following link to identify timers that work for 3-way switching.
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#15071

3) After buying correct timer, then you need to review wiring diagrams carefully because the timer replaces 1 of the 3-way switches, but other 3-way switch has to be wired exactly right to match your brand of timer.

4) Links on page above show manuals for each of the 3-way timers. Compare wiring for each timer with Intermatic wiring that you are replacing, because Intermatic is wired differently than Aube.

5) Or just buy another Intermatic ST01C or EJ500 or EI400, etc, and wiring with change out 1 for 1.

Our dryer has been running longer than normal on cycles. It seems to dry just fine but at times it seems like the timer is not working. The dryer will just keep running for hours. Ideas on what I should...

Have you checked to see that the knob for the signal to ring is still set to "on"? I know I have accidentally pushed my own off & wondered the same thing as you are.
You may also have an excessive problem somewhere. Check your removable lint filter as it may have too much accumulation on it & is making your dryer run longer.
You should remove it after every few cycles and clean it anyway.
If you use dryer sheets in your dryer, you should also, actually wash that filter to remove any remaining residue from the dryer sheet. You won't see it, but you'll know it's there by running clear water over it, and if it doesn't go thru the screen easily, there's your film.

After taking such good care of your filter & lint traps, check your dryer exhaust, all the way out to the outside of your house. Sometimes a lot of lint gets stuck in there also.. It's important to remove this because any lint that's caught in there could easily start a fire.

If you try all of these things and your dryer is still running too long and your not hearing the signal, I would check to see if the signal is operating first.

Set your dryer to stop in 5 minutes, then watch it. If it keeps running & you don't hear the end of cycle bell, check to see if it's set to "on". If it is set to "on" yet not working, you may have to replace the part or call a service person.....Check to see if your timer is broken or not, too. The wheel could be loose & may only need tightening. Or you may need to call a service person.
This will depend on what part needs replacement, or how handy you are.

I hope this helps.

How do I program a Micronta programmable timer--I set the time to have it go on, but how do I set it to go off?

LCD Programmable Timer (630-0892) Operation Faxback Doc. # 17153 Setting The Time and Day Follow these steps to set the current time and day. 1. Slide RUN/PROG/TIME SET to TIME SET. 2. Press HOUR to set the hour digits. Pressing and holding down HOUR rapid- ly advances the hour digits. NOTE: P appears to the left of the hour digits to indicate P.M. hours. 3. Press MIN (minute) to set the minutes digits. Pressing and holding down MIN rapidly advances the minute digits. 4. Press DAY until the correct day abbreviation appears. 5. Slide the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to RUN. The colon flashes to show the clock is running. NOTE: Keep this switch set to RUN to prevent accidentally changing the time. Setting The Timer The timer has 14 settings (1-14). Odd numbered settings specify a time to turn on the appliance and even numbered settings specify a time to turn off the appliance. Follow these steps to set your timer. 1. Slide the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to PROG. The display shows the first setting. If you have not entered any setting, the display appears as shown in the illustration. 2. Press Event to select a setting to enter or change. 3. Press Hour to set the HOUR digits and press MIN to set minute digits to the correct time. NOTE: Be sure P appears to the left of the hour digits when you want to set a P.M. hour. 4. Press Day to select the day of the week for this setting. If you want the setting to apply to every day of the week, repeatedly press DAY until all day indicators appear on the display. 5. When you finish entering the setting, press EVENT. The timer advances to the next setting. 6. Repeat Steps 3 through 5 to enter additional settings. NOTES: Be sure to set the timer to turn off the appliance. The appli- ance remains on as long as there is power if you do not set a time for the appliance to turn off. To replace an existing event, select its setting number and set the new event time. To clear an event, select its setting number and press CLEAR twice. Be sure to clear both the on time and the off time for an event. If you set the timer to turn on the appliance every day, be sure to also set the timer to turn off the appliance every day. 7. Set the RUN/PROG/TIME SET switch to RUN. NOTE: You must set this switch to RUN to turn on or off the appliance either automatically or manually. When the timer automatically turns on the appliance, ON appears on the display and the indicator lights red. When the appliance turns off, the indicator turns off. Reviewing The Settings To review the settings in your timer, set RUN/PROG/TIME SET to PROG. Setting 1 appears on the display. Repeatedly press EVENT to view the other settings. NOTE: To determine event being programmed, pull the power for a period of 5 minutes. Then re-power the unit. The first event will be "ON" and the next will be "OFF", etc. There will be a number to the side of the display that tells you which event you are programming, The even numbers are "OFF" and the odd numbers are "ON" events. Vacuum working perfectly and everything stopped. Went to the utility room and found a plastic bag on top of the equipment. Tried the reset button, etc. nothing works.

sounds like a bad relay in the tank just a simple repair but should be done by a vacuum tech or electrician. Could be a motor is nothing is starting at all, but not as likely.
