Check:
1) Wrong wiring of indoor/outdoor

2) Reversed phase
3) Protection device is working
4) Damaged outdoor coil thermistor

1) Check the indoor/outdoor connecting wire.
2) Change the connection of electric wiring.
3) Check the protection device.
4) Measure the resistance of the outdoor coil thermistor.
If the resistance is normal, replace the
outdoor controller board

P8- Abnormal temp of out door. If new unit, check gas pressure, may be over charged. Release some gas. If existing a/c, check condenser coil- dusty- clean it. Check f.motor- less rpm-replace capacitor. F.motor mechanism locked- replace motor. If above all o.k., non-condensate gas inside. Release all gas, flush out, replace filter drier and vacuum. The 8 error code just means that the ink absorber is full and needs to be replaced. Power cycling will not help this problem. You need to replace the absorber and reset the counter

P8 error is abnormal pipe temperature indoor. If you are running it on heating P8 error will appear because the disc pressure is too high. It could be overcharged.
