Good day,
I would like to have a model no. Things to look at. Is the filters clean? If yes then we carry on to the next step. Check power stability but that should not be the problem. Your next step is to find out what gas it's using. If using R410, then make sure there was no leak. If there is a leak you have to drop all the gas and weigh in new gas. On your system should be information on how much gas it takes as n standard. Every unit new come pre charged with gas for 10 meters. If your pipework is longer than 10 meters then additional gas should be added. If not it can take the amount that is shown on the info sticker.
You have to vacuum and put new gas. But you have to put it in as n liquid. If u canot do this yourself please call a qualified HVAC tech.
Thanks

no sir gary,
the water would not go to the drain pan if you install it vertically.
water would just drop anywhere and would ruin a lot of things...

Let me try to send you to a quick fast electrical course on wiring size vrs amp draw it can carry before it burns into. The breaker box can send out the rated amps the wire comming into the box its sized for. (example. #3 can carry 10 amps) then it is distributed thru breaker thru the wires to the loads amp draw. depends on the maxium rated amp draw of the load, the wire can carry a certain amount of heat or amps. Ceck the max. rated amps or heat draw it can carry to size your wires & breaker,! thank you very much!

SOURCE: mr slim unit in bedroom 9kbtu - room 11x12'- is humid, awful
Lets clarify. DRY mode only dehumidifes that air and does not cool. Cool is used for cooling. Dry mode doesn't normally have temp control; it is automatically set by the unit. I think 9000btu is a big unit for the room; it is overkill. I would switch to a 5000btu unit. it cannot be fixed and the BR unit needs to be uninstalled and the new unit needs to be re-installed. The price of commisioning, de-commisioning and new unit is something in which you will have to pay.
I take the time to answer your questions, so please rate me.
Thankyou
Mat
