I would suggest using dedicated input button on remote, not the menu on the tv. If you can skip setup screen that would be best. I have just looked at the manual for that tv, it tells you all you need to know, depending upon which input you used for your box. As I stated use the direct input button on the remote if you have it.

NEED A REMOTE CODE FOR AT&T U-VERSE
169 worked for my 26 inch Dynex.
If that doesn't work, go to DynexProducts.com, find the remote codes page for your particular model, and if you scroll to the bottom is suggests some brands that have codes that might work. You can find the corresponding codes for those brands in the list that came with the TV.

Dynex Television 1023, 1107, 1122, 1273, 1382, 1383, 1384 If these codes do not work you can call the Dynex customer support at this telephone number 1-800-305-2204. Give them the model number of you television and ask them how to get the code. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
