does not work with window 8 yet or maybe never,,,xp worked fine..I get tired of these changes just casue they can, use xp or 7..

Axiom keyboards are compatible with PC as well as Mac.

I don't know what DAW you are using but Axiom is compatible with several.

OFTEN Roland has the opposite sense of normally closed contacts versus normally open. Test the switch with any continuity tester or an ohmmeter to see that the contacts work and come out to the switch. ALSO some amps require a TRS type connection (three wire plug) and others do not. From the schematic it appears that the Laney may REQUIRE a normally closed contact. There is also a pull switch involved that you MAY have to change the state of for operation of the pedal.

You MUST use a specially prepared Karaoke CD, not just a plain music CD.

To retrieve the CD safely, the safest way is to open the unit. A common problem is that a tiny belt from a motor that drives the eject deteriorates and slips so there isn't sufficient drive to move the mechanism. The unit is probably in a mode expecting to eject and has commanded the motor but it doesn't complete... Do as I say and open the unit to do the retrieval. Then get unit serviced.

Contact Yamaha America parts dept under "support". There may NOT be anywhere to download what you are missing. It would be best to get an original CD if you can.

Did the keyboard come with a cd?If so(which it usually comes with),put the cd into your drive and it may just run the drivers.If nothing happens,leave the cd in the drive and go to control panel/install new hardware tab in the control panel.Then it should display a list of programs on your computer with a question mark next to it to describe that it is not running correctly(make sure the keyboard is plugged in when you do this).Click on the line that says your keyboard or it may say something along those lines...Then it will opt you to use the internet or install the program manually.Select manually and it should search for the driver,and if your cd is still in the drive,it will find any driver on said cd and install it so your keyboard will work.

Any of these keyboards usually come with software anyways,so it should be on the cd.If you dont have one:look up casio on google and see if you can get the drivers from their knowledge base.

Find out the make of your sound card in control panel/system and either Google the manufacturers website and see if they have a download section or go to http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/ and see if the make is listed there
