I have my DC800 connected to my home stereo with the audio out RCA cords. My Sony Vaio has built in bluetooth, and the DC800 comes up as a "Stereo Audio Player" and as "Bluetooth Stereo Audio." You can connect to either one separately, but neither of them produce any sound out of my home stereo speakers.
The light on the DC800 is pulsating, and I'm literally right next to it so there's no intererence.
Please help me! Thank you so much!

Amazon com Charm sonic Wireless CSR4 0 Portable Bluetooth Receiver...
It's a lot simpler than you think..
1. make sure the cables to your stereo are in the LINE OUT of the
dc800, and on the LINE IN or AUX IN of your stereo (trust me, double
check them)
2. make sure your DC800 is PAIRED with your computer. this is different
with each different "STACK" read the help files on your particular
bluetooth stack to help you with this is you need more help. Remember,
you have to hold the big "M" button in the front of the DC800 to pair
it.
3. when you want to send audio to the DC800, make sure you CONNECT the
DC800 using your particular stack. Once the DC800 is paired with your
computer, you can often set up a link or icon on your desktop to
connect or disconnect the device from your computer.
This should take care of it. If you are still having problems, make
sure to check your audio properties to see if the audio is sending to
the Bluetooth device. This is USUALLY changed automatically, but
sometimes you have to tweak your settings to make sure it's sending to
the Bluetooth.
Anything that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input. Get a cable like the one described here:

and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono". Turn the MP3 player volume up.
