How do i conect a dvd player to a Model UE32C5100QW
This will depend on the output type(s) of your DVD player.
If the outputs on the rear of the DVD player are Yellow (vodeo), Red and White (left and right audio) then you will use standard Composite RCA cables running to the A/V inputs of matching colors on the rear of your TV.
If the DVD outputs are Red, Blue, Green (video) and Red and White (audio) then you will use Component RCA cables leading to the appropriate inputs of matching color on the rear of your television.
Both of these methods will produce a standard definition image and you made need to adjust your television to get the image to display properly. You will also need to use your remote to switch to the appropriate input you used.
In some cases newer DVD players may have an HDMI output and you can use that to connect to one of the HDMI inputs on your TV. However, this will still produce a standard definition image although the DVD player or your TV may "upscale" the image to try and produce a sharper and cleaner image.
RCA cables, both composite and component, are available at retail stores such as Walmart, Best Buy or other electronics retailers. You can also find them online via Amazon, Newegg or other electronics retailers. Most shouldn't cost much and probably considerably less than a quality HDMI cable.
