Manuel has 600 normal chalks (6 boxes * 100 pieces). And Colored chalks are 7*20=140.

Now please note that question is tricky. Manuel only shares the colored chalks with his friends.
ie 140/5=28

Now Manuel is left with 600 normal chalks and 28 colored chalks

600+28=628.

If manuel is sharing the box with 4 friends and himself that is 5 people.
First multiple 6 times 100= 600 chalks/ 5 people. so 120 chalks per person.
Then for colored chalks. 7*20= 140 chalks/ 5 people. so 28 colored chalks each.
In total manuel and each of his friends have 148 chalks each.

6 divided by 2/3 + 1/2

First add 2/3 (4/6) + 1/2 (3/6) = (7/6) = 1.1666
6 divided by 1.1666 = 5.1431

Using a Chalk Line To Mark Straight Lines

When working on walls for floors that have very large expanses of flat area, without a laser level it can be very difficult to mark long, straight and level lines. There is a very simple tool that many carpenters and construction workers favor over the laser level, it is the chalk line (or chalk box).

Using the chalk line is very simple, you lay the string down on the surface that you want to level. Many of the chalk lines have a hook like piece on the end to hook on to a nail or edge so you won't need a helper to hold it it place. When you reach the other side of the area you want to level, pull the string taut and pluck the string. This will transfer the chalk from the string to the surface.

If you are using a manual winding chalk line you will need to roll the string back into the box if you want to do another line. Some chalk boxes are automatic and will have a release that will wind the string back up like a tape measure. The reason that you need to rewind the strong after every line drawn is because you need to reload the strong with more chalk. Its like how when painting you need to reload the paint brush with more paint when it runs out.

The chalk inside the box can come in a few different colors that are used for differnet purposes. The most common color is blue, red is more permanent so its good for a line that needs to last for a day or more, and white is good for interior painting because it can wash off easily and doesn't bleed.

Hi...I recently used Goldwell topchic 9N and mixed it equal parts with topchic 30 vol. cream developer. My roots came out a reddish tone which I do not like. My virgin color is between a 2 and a 3 (Dark...

it's only possible to lift 3 shades (like 3to 6, or 4 to 7) without taking undertones into consideration. To go from a dark brown (level 3) to a 9n you would have to pre-lighten your hair with an on the scalp bleach first. Then color with 9n and 20 volume

Looking for a manual for a snap on timing light MT-1261LA

Hi there:
This its a generic instructions about how to work...
1.- Locate the timing marks and the metal timing pointer located on the lower engine pulley. It might be necessary to turn the pulley with a wrench until the marks appear.
2.- Refer to the engine's specifications manual to determine what the correct timing mark is, and mark the proper timing mark on the pulley with a piece of chalk.
3.- Attach the timing light to the engine. The timing light has three cords that extend from the bottom of the light. Two of the cords have colored alligator clips on the end, while the third cord looks like a rectangle with a hole in the middle. Clip the red alligator clip to the positive side of the battery, which can be identified by the "+" sign. Clip the black alligator clip to a clean metal surface. The black clip acts as an electrical ground. Clip the cord that looks like a rectangle around the spark plug wire for the number one cylinder. Refer to the engine's manual to determine which wire is for the number one cylinder.
4.- Disconnect and plug any vacuum lines that are attached to the distributor. A vacuum line can be plugged with the tip of a pencil or golf tee.
5.- Ensure that the timing light's cords are free from the engine's fan, then start the engine.
6.- Point the timing light at the chalk mark on the lower engine pulley and the metal timing pointer, then pull the trigger on the timing light. The timing light will produce a strobe effect. The engine will be properly timed if the chalk mark and the metal timing pointer align with each other.
7.- Adjust the timing, if necessary, by loosening the single bolt that holds the distributor in place and twisting the distributor slightly until the chalk mark and the metal timing pointer are in alignment, then tighten the distributor's bolt and reconnect the distributor's vacuum line.

I if it compound interest it will be :
Year 1 : £800 / 100 = £8*6 = £48 then + £800 = £848
Year 2 : £848 / 100 = £8.48*6 = £50.88 then + £848 = £898.88
Year 3 : £898.88 / 100 = £8.98*6 = £53.93 then + £898.88 = £952.81
Year 4: £952.81 / 100 = £9.52*6 = £57.16 then + £952.81 = £1,009
By Year Four it will equal £1,009 give a pound or two because I have rounded it down.

We seem to have lost the instructions--how much water needs to be added?

The instructions list these steps:

1. Fill the bottle with 5 capfuls of water
2. Recap the bottle tightly
3. Shake it up, until the powder and water are completely mixed
4. Pour into mold until shape is filled. Avoid overfilling. Pour excess into another shape to create 2-color chalk!
5. Let it set for 10-20 minutes
6. Once the chalk has hardened completely, pop it out
7. Try it out

Have fun!
