I bought the same remote that you suggested and still dont have any luck would u happen to know the code u used with your remote.. does it work all the functions turning tv on and off and channels and volume i dont care if it doesnt turn tv on and off but i need to be able to change channel and control volume.. maybe i am doing something wrong
Ueic does not have any codes for this tv. This is not the old proscan affiliated with ge,rca tompson.
It is now marketed by on corp us inc.http://www.oncorpus.com/down/down.htm. You don't have to download the language pack.
Your best bet is to get a remote from remotes.com

If you purchased the One-for-All universal remote (model URC4220) the remote code for a Proscan TV is either 0047 or 0747. The instruction booklet also has a section called ''Troubleshooting", which gives specific instructions on how to correct the problems you are having with volume and channel selection.
If you did not purchase the remote control listed above, please tell me the brand name and model number of your remote. I also need to know if it is a universal remote or not.

I have this TV and a new universal remove # URC 4220 & codes 0047 or 0747 still do not work, please help.
Did you purchase the One-for-All universal remote, model URC4220? If not, please tell me the brand and model number of your remote, and indicate if it is a universal remote. This info can usually be found on the front cover of your instruction booklet. The model number can also be found on the front or back of the remote control. Thanks.
