So it looks like you posted a follow up in a different section
t = 70 - 0.003 x height
height = 1500ft
t = 70 - 0.003 x 1500
t = 65.5 degrees fahrenheit
I think this is what you have been trying to get at.

That dosent sound like a complete question, double check to make sure you got everything included all symbol for example is that 70 - 0.003 x height. what result are you looking for. Are you looking for the equation that will model this. Try to give a little more information.
