The fan might be set to something called "night mode" (which I have no idea why it's called that because it just keeps me awake). Try changing the mode that the fan is set to. Or, refer to the owners manual.

When I switch it on it goes immediately on standby mode (with the red light flashing) and cannot make it to work

The best solution on earth!!!
the same thing happened to me. all you do is press the eject button until it turns yellow. when that happens, immediately unplug the ac cord, & plug it back in. repeat this process until the light stays green! trust me, it works. it saves alot of money too if your warranty has ran out

Honeywell Chronotherm iv fan keeps running even when heat and cool turned off. How do I turn it off?

To turn the fan off, press the "fan key" until it says "auto". This will turn the fan off. When the programs scheduled, changes, the fan will go on again. You have to repeat the fan to "auto" each time the schedule changes.

Computer

Hi,

Can think of only three possibilities:
1. CPU fan motor, bearings needs lubrication or replacement;
2. Power Supply fan motor, same as above or any of the other fans;
3. Hard disk spindle motor (though unlikely).

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
