Hello i hava aq-see qt426 surveillance system and after a power outage it won't boot, keeps rebooting and freezes on 'system initializing" screen. do i have to format the HD or it could be a firmware issue. rgds Guillermo

We'll call your neighbor if u had an power outage then your system has rebooted and kick the wifi into default wich u cannot remotely view your home

Main Menu -> Setup -> Basic -> System tab -> Video Format option change drop down to ntsc

Try booting into safe mode.

try to remove the cmos back up battery inside the DVR and install back the battery in invert position to short the polarity. Leave it overnight and install back the battery in the proper position and turn on. tyr to log in USERNAME: admin PASSWORD: 123456

The monitor keeps flashing on and off? Or does your system keeps trying to reboot which causes the monitor to go on and off. Does the screen turn Blue before it goes off?

I have received the same error and I format the HD but the error is still there. Can you tell me what can I do?

while rebooting u press the F5 key for a while, it will redirect u to a boot menu,in this boot menu u have some special options to boot like boot in safe mode,safe mode with networking ,debugging mode,last known good configuration boot,start normally,etc u first boot in safe mode and try to deactivate rebooting in ur own technicand u have more options try all of them it will be ok in 2 or 3 options
