Using 3rd party programs to uninstall tend to work better than using the built in ones. Ccleaner is a free option and Revo is a paid option. These should take care of uninstalling the program and its registry keys.

Im just making sure this laptop is a replacement of the old one. i had webroot on the old one is webroot on this new laptop. Please help me.

If you have a webroot subscription, log into the portal on your new device and install the agent. Webroot will not carry over from one device to another. Also, if the old device is no longer being used, you can remove that device from the portal. If you need step by step let me know.

I have webroot anti-virus and it consistently is being turned off after I get on the internet. Is it likely malware or a virus causing this? Actually, it is the firewall that is being turned off.

Chances are it's a virus or malware. Download an anti-virus program to a disk or to a flash drive. Run it and see if you can find a virus. Here's a link to one of the best anti-virus progams. (In my opinion)

Hope you solve the problem. You might also try Malwarebytes

Removing webroot spy sweeper

This worked for me. Search the registry for webroot (start->run->type 'regedit'); in regedit, find 'webroot'. Delete the folder that has webroot (it has sub-folder 'spy sweeper'). McAfee should finish installing.
