Meade lens assembly

Oh dear, that will be a doublet lens, they fit together like this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Achromat_doublet_en.svg

What diameter are they? If about 70mm or so it is the objective (front) lens for the telescope. I do not hold much hope that you can assemble them so that they are optically aligned, but luck may be with you.
They will assemble something like the reverse of this

Lense taken apart, not sure how to reassemble

Sorry cannot help you. If it has more than 3 elements no one except an optical technician can reassemble the elements. Call Meade customer service. They may take it back knowing what happened????

I have a Meade ETX 60. The internal threaded rod that focuses the telescope is broken. Can I get a replacement ? I already have this taken apart and have removed the rod.

You can call Meade, they might sell you a rod??? Usually they want you to send the scope back to them for repair.

Do not know where to put the lens that fell out. my dogs knocked it over...

Depends on the telescope. If your has a mirror in the bottom and looks like a tube, with the focuser near the front, put the eyepiece in the focuser.

If you have a refractor style with a lens in the front -- the eyepiece goes in the "L" shaped diagonal and the diagonal goes in the scope. A diagonal looks like this--

This will also help you figure it out.

Cannot focus a Meade Refractor "Electronic Digital" series

All of Meade's manuals are listed here--
http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html

Take it outside during the day time-- put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the telescope--- this is the LOWEST magnification.

Point it at a distant object and practice focusing-- the moon should be your first night time object.

You have guides or cutter assembly out of alignment. Take it apart and double check before reassembling.

I need the assembly instructions, please, for a Swift 60900.

I think I already answered your question--- look here for a MEADE manual that is similar to your telescope-- they all pretty much assemble the same way---

Just found your posting kind of old but I hope this helps you--

Most of these small refractors assemble the same way-- so take a look at these Meade brand refractor manual and see if it helps you put it back together.
