We are in the motherboard category, so I will just list the specifications of the motherboard,

The eMachines T3025 Desktop PC uses the FIC AU31 motherboard.

In the list on the left side, click on the blue -> FIC AU31
This is a Zip file, and the motherboard user manual.

After you click on FIC AU31, a small window will come up -
Opening AU31_manual.zip

Make SURE there is a Green dot in the small circle, to the left of Save File.
IF not; click in the small circle to the left of Save File.

A small download window will come up.
Allow the file to download all the way, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.
(Yellow folder icon with a zipper on it. AU31_manual(1).zip, to the right)

In the next small window go to the far left, and click on -
Extract all files. (Under Folder Tasks subheading)

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish.
(That's it. DO NOT make any changes in the second small window.
Just click on Next, Next, and Finish)

In the last small window DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

You are now looking at a PDF file, of the motherboard user manual.

D) Ram Memory:

Two ram memory slots. (The ram memory slot that is closest to the Processor, {CPU}, is ram memory Slot 1. Also known as DIMM 1)

TOTAL amount of ram memory is 2GB.
EACH ram memory slot amount is 1GB.

Uses either DDR Sdram at 200MegaHertz, or 266MHz, or 333MHz, or 400MHz.
That is PC1600, PC2100, PC2700, and PC3200; respectively.

Bear in mind;
Ram Memory typically operates at HALF of the Processor's FSB.

Ram memory MUST be;
Non-ECC
Unbuffered
Uses 2.5 Volts.

(JEDEC set the voltage standards for DDR Sdram at 2.5 Volts.
This means the default voltage for ram memory, set by the factory for this motherboard, is 2.5 Volts.

I don't see any features in BIOS Setup, for changing the voltage parameters, for Ram Memory.

You CAN set the FSB support for the Processor, however.
There is a jumper to the Left of the Northbridge chip, and bottom/left of the Processor socket.

Set the FSB support for the Processor, at either 100/133Mhz.
or 133/166MHz.
See Page 7 (Adobe Reader page number box at Top)

Bear in mind that AMD processors are 'Double-pumped'.
100MHz = 200MHz
133MHz = 266MHz
166MHz = 333MHz

Also on Page 8 - Install the CPU, there is a statement;

"The mainboard has built-in Switching Voltage Regulator to support CPU Vcore autodetection.

That is, It has the ability to detect and recognize the CPU voltage,
clock, ratio and enables users to set up the CPU frequency from the BIOS Setup Screen.

Users can adjust the frequency through Frequency / Voltage Control of the BIOS Setup Screen."

That should be in the -Advanced Features Setup - menu.
Page 21.
The manual doesn't discuss it on Page 21, or anywhere else through the manual. (To my knowledge)

You'll have to go into Advanced Features Setup menu, and look around.

E) Graphics expansion slot:

Can support AGP cards that are either AGP 4X, or AGP 8X.

Doubt you will find an AGP 4X graphics card, and if you do you don't want to use it, anyway.

Use AGP 8X graphics card. It will be 0.8 Volts.

This mainboard uses SD ram and it sounds like a ram problem.

If there is room for a ddr ram block you can`t use SD ram and DDR ram simultaneously.

Try to insert the old cpu again and upgrade the bios to support a bigger cpu. Not all cpu is supported.

No, you cannot upgrade to a core 2 duo with that motherboard because it is a socket 478.

Could you please go online and in a search engine type "MAX RAM E-Machines (here put your model #)." Pick a link that secribes your maxi,um ram and if it's only 2GB you'll have your answer. If the max is higher there should be instructions on how to set the computer to acess and show the RAM.

First of all which operating system is on the machine?

Secondly have you been into the BIOS to see if the on-board has been disabled. To get into the BIOS restart the computer and press either the Del or Esc key to access the BIOS.

Also go to device manager and see if the audio has been disabled from there.

If you have installed Windows 7 or Vista then there could be a chance that the motherboard drivers are not designed for the operating system. If that's the case then no driver will work.
You would have to manually search the internet for someone who may have found a compatible driver.

have you tried increasing the swap file on your computer?

slot one if it does not boot up then use the next slot slot two make sure you have the right memory for the machine

to change bus to 133 MHz, you need to unlock the speed by setting a corresponding jumper on the board to assign busspeed by bios. After doing so, you need to clear CMOS and reboot. Next you'll have to set speed and multiplier in bios. Ideally: 900MHz = 100 x 9. Alternatively: 133 x 6.5 If that doesn't help...check if your RAM-modules are any good anymore. When RAM is not functioning, CPU-error code may be presented, since CPU cannot read/write to RAM, therefore not function. Let me know how this turns out.

No SDRAM is single data ram, with 2 slots in the bottom and DDR is double data ram, with one slot at the bottom.
