Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

You can download the current versions of all (free) Nikon software from

2001 seville instrument cluster question

Hi,

this might depend on the version of your instrument. Please call the manufacturer and request an email address where you can send in a photo of your specific instrument and it can be examined properly and the details about the modum can be determined.

Thank you.

When the channel is changed on our Sony Bravia, a box appears below the banner at the top that shows what appears to be a modum(?) with a yellow "caution" triangle. Does anyone know what this is?

Are you using the TV with a box provided by Dish/Direct TV? If so the triangle is telling you that you have lost your WIFI/Internet connection to the box.

My new Canon G11, purchased in August,2010: 1) The camera cord (to load photos from camera to computer) is no longer interfacing, but the card works (I don't think it is the software as it malunctions on...

It sounds to me like one or more of the wires in the cord has broken, or there is a problem with the USB port on the computer. Try swapping to the other ports to see if the problem goes away before going forward.

If the problem is present on all ports and the camera is still under warranty, I would suggest contacting Canon directly and let them solve the problem.

You could also try purchasing / borrow a cable that fits if you want to save time without a camera / dealing with Canon.

Good luck!

Cnnecting to cable modum

To access your router you should goto http://192.168.0.1 - It should explain in the manual.

You may have to set the router in Cable Modem mode as it may be in DSL mode now.

I hope this may help.

ALSO! There should be a little hole in the back that you can put the tip of a pen into to press a button and it will reset the router back to factor defaults. Default settings would be cable modem mode. Be sure to have the router powered on and press the button down for 10 secs and notice the lights on the router should flash. After that power down the router, by unplugging the power and the plug it back in. It should be set back to factory defaults.

Pictures wont down load

If the camera software is loaded and you are connecting the camera to computer.
Remove the softwaree and.
Windows will see the camers as a removable memory device in my computer an put up the scanner camera wizard.
This may reveal more.
You may also have inadvertantly deleted stuff
download www.pcinspector.com
install it to recover any deleted images.
Also try the camera and card in another computer.
