Parts for AP 125 water pump (Homelite ) that is no longer being manufactured.

It's not much of a manual, but a port with female threads sounds like a place that should have a threaded plug in it and is used from draining down in winter to stop freezing water cracking the pump.

Check on ebay for that tt and maybe someone has parts listed. Or try the manufacturer but if a unit is more than ten years old parts are usually no longer available.

few years late but here: guessing your problem area is the impeller blade? remove impeller blade by turning clockwise ( i put a screwdriver in the pull cord fin to stop shaft). Then remove spring around rubber gasket behind blade (then rubber gasket pulls off shaft. everything else just UN-bolts. Just figured it out myself today.

usually on the fuel cap it has the mixture,usually 40 to 1 is a safe bet,a little too much oil in the mix is better than less

Your best bet is to ask Homelite directly for the pump curve. Since Homelite does not appear to offer it anymore I could not find anyone who published the information, hence the referal to Homelite. A typical pump curve for a small pump like this will show GPM or GPH based on several discharge heights. You do not need to consider the overall run of pipe or hose but only the total change in height. In other words, pumping thru 150' of 3/4" hose up an incline that has a total rise of 12' would end up delivering the GPM for 12' on the curve or something very close anyway.

You use www.homelite.com part lookup for the HU80709. Homelite site doesn't list the a version but parts should be the same. www.jackssmallengine.com is excellent source for parts and is very reasonable on the parts.

usual if the pump is dry you need to try bleed get some water to the pump. either pouring some in the lift pipe some pumps have a bleed screw to pour into to get it pumping. if it still wont could be the fins in the pump that are not working proper 

If you have a two line fuel system make sure the lines didn't get crossed. If they are you could still get gas to the cylinder but not enough. I hope this will of some help to you. Donnyb60
