I would suggest using a blunt object to clear the drainage holes in the rubber seal. I'd advise against removing the seal for this problem. LG has special pliers to remove the spring loaded wire from around the front of the door seal and another for the larger size one where the rubber seal attaches to the outer drum. The second one is much harder to reattach, even somewhat difficult with the washer's front off if you do not have the special pliers.

Why is the water running out of the lint filter on front loading washing machine

If the washer is leaking water the drain pump might have a hole or crack. Or, the bearings might be worn out. Replace the drain pump if it is leaking water, they're not repairable.
Check also the condition of the hoses and clamps going to and from the pump and the filter rubber seal.

How do i clean Bosch WAE20261AU front loader washing machine

The lint will be in a removable filter and as for cleaning the rubber seal the black grime will most likely be mould. Try a good mould remover.

Sounds like the defrost drain is cloged. There is a hole at the bottom of the freezer behind the back wall. if this is cloged then the water that is suppost to drain there will overflow and freez.

Water not filling machine and do not see suds but it does sound like its filling up. Hear it filling but do not see any water

Not sure of your model but the larger LG front loaders have 2 pumps, 1 for drain and other to pump water up over the clothes through a fitting in the top of the door rubber seal. If something is stuck in the pump or the pump has failed the clothes wont get wet.

My LG front loader is washer leaking water.

Could be the bladder from the drum to the door of the door seal. It could also be the drain pump hose.

Rubber gasket removal LG Tromm front loader

We found there is three small holes on the seal right inside the door, check to see if they are clogged with soap scum and clean them out. Run a cycle of hot water and bleach. Then, after each use, leave the door open and let it air dry and this has seem to work.

LG Washer leak, small tear in door seal

Follow these steps to replace your door seal:
Disconnect all power to the machine first!!

1 Locate the outer clamp band securing the seal to the door rim on the washing machine and examine it carefully for holes or tears. Many can be prised off with a flat-bladed screwdriver they have a spring system holding them, but some have a tensioning arrangement that has to be loosened.
2 After removing the outer clamp band, locate the inner one securing the seal to the drum and establish how this is secured. It may be necessary to loosen a clip, or you may be able to prise the band off with a flat-bladed screwdriver. Some are like very large Jubilee clips that you have to undo usually from the top.
3 Once the clamp bands have been removed, use both hands to pull the seal away from the inner drum rim. Some machines have a water spout holes that will have to be lined up. Others have a drain holes.
4 Rubbing a drop of washing up liquid into the groove on the door seal/gasket that locates on the drum makes fitting the new seal easier.
5 the new washing machine door seal should be fitted by locating the drain holes at the bottom of the seal first then push it on with both hands working opposite directions towards the top. This is quite hard if you have never done it before.
6 refit the inner band remembering this must be tensioned correctly for it to be water tight.
7 now fit the outer band and the test the machine for any leaks,

LG FRont Load Washer Dryer WD-1256RD filling up with lint

If you have not done it already, replace the lint filter. Follow instructions on manual. The lint filter access should be on front side of machine.

Other users had same problem on this model, I quote:
"I've only had it 2 weeks so far. It seems to be collecting lint/fluff all around the rubber door lining"
Source here.

Sometimes there may be too much lint if you use excessive softener and detergent.

Missing drain hose

Yes, there are 2 ways to do it.  The easiest way works only if the washer is NOT on a pedestal.  Pull the washer out and tilt it back.  Have someone you trust hold the washer leaned back while you crawl underneath the unit. Look for the 3/8" rubber hose and just shove it back into the hole where the drain hose is supposed to go.  If that doesn't work, then you will have to disassemble the top, the control panel and the front panel to get to the hose.
