Go to www.hotmail.com and go to the forgot password option and this will take you through the process of recovering your password, when you first set it up you had to fill out security questions in case you ever forgot it after going through this process and restoring your hotmail account you will then be able to use facebook recovery password option to send you a link to your hotmail so you can gain access to it

Passwords may be reset if you answer the questions you choosed to answer while creating the account. other way may be youi may choose to send the password to alternate email you set while creating the Email ID.
Just be patient very patient while following the instructions as if you choose wrong thing more than 2wice. it will get locked.
