Many times just unplugging the Tv from the power outlet will do the trick.
Checking the manual on this TV, there is no true hardware reset other then unplugging the TV from the wall, then plug it back into the wall outlet.
Many times TV's that receive a surge would experience damage to a power board or a capacitor inside the tv itself.
The best way to check if its a power board is opening the unit up and verifying if there is any damage. Now if your not good with doing that I would recommend you leave it to a local TV repair shop to check out.
Many times repair shops would take it on consignment and if its repaired there the charge to look at it would be included in the final price.
Judging if its a power board you looking at anywhere from $125-$150 for the part, $80 to $100 for labor. Keep this in mind while your shopping to see if its better to repair or buy a new one.
