Check to make sure the wands and tubes are all put back on properly.

i can think of 2 things first do"s the clutch{ if it has one}work or is it in the off postion you can test this by lying the dyson on it"s side and turning it on but remember to push down on the bottom as if you was hoovering if the brush spins then its ok if it dosen" move then replace it second take the bucket off and remove the bin tune it upside down and see if it is blocked if so the best way to clean it is to sit it upside down and put a hose pipe in then just wait till the water runs clean hope this is some use to you

Might be the hepa filter needs cleaning? This is located in the housing on the side of the cleaner at the bottom (see your manual to find it). It is a big spongy ring which Dyson say you should remove once a month and wash in warm water. Dry off and replace in cleaner when completely dry. I've found this works and the suction is like that of a new machine!

Sounds like you have two separate problems here. If the brush bar does not rotate, probably the belt is broken. This is easily replaced, but you need to be precise about which model you've got so you get the right belt.
Loss of suction is due either to a blockage or, quite often, to a split in the short length of clear plastic hose that leads back from the brush bar enclosure. Repair is possible but replacement is better.

Is the suction tubing in the head assembly clogged, is the belt broke? If the if the belt looks good the brush may be turned off and you may need to turn the brush switch on.
A few weeks ago I ran into the same problem, virtually no suction. First I replaced the bad belt (make sure you fit it right or it'll destroy the belt, luckily I bought 2!) and while the vacuum sounded more "alive" it didn't seem to pick up anything any better. The final solution was taking apart the entire intake port section down to the motor and getting the collection tube. It was filled with junk all the way up. I spent over an hour clearing out gunk and animal fur throughout the tubing. Putting it back together was a cinche because the entire vacuum uses one screw type universally. The whole process was pretty intuitive and its clear it's meant to be taken apart for just this purpose.
