I have a pair of LL Bean Red Desk Thermo Clock Model 0GMR7, and misplaced the owner's manual. Had to change the batteries and reset the time and temperature displays. I was able to reset the temperature display, but cannot reset the time display. I can not find a replacement owners manual. Can you tell me where I can get a copy of the manual? Brad

If you give me the exact model number [not the serial number], I'll search in my system library for that manual. Alarm doesn't go off when set. I've adjusted the time. Still nothing

Try removing the battery and unplugging it form the wall for a few hours. This will allow the microprocessor time to discharge and reset to it normal functions. After letting the Clock/Radio discharge, you can put the battery back in the Clock/Radio and see if it has reset itself to the factory setting. Then use the link (http://www.emersonradio.com/owners) copy the web page link and paste it into the address bar of you browser. It will take you to Emerson home page for owners manuals. There you can find your model clock radio and follow the instructions for resetting the clock radios functions. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Alarm function quit working for sat. and sun.

You can try to take the battery out of the clock/radio and disconnect the plug. This will allow the microprocessor to lose power and reset itself to the factory set-up. It will take about a hour to make sure its discharged. Then put the battery back in the clock/radio and see if the functions return to normal. You can go to this web link.(http://www.emersonradio.com/owners) copy and paste this web link into the address bar of the browser and it will take you to the Emerson website with all the owners manuals listed by make and model. You can find you make and model clock/radio and follow the instructions for resetting the functions. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

The clock does not show the correct time.

[http://www.emersonradio.com/owners/SmartSet%20Series/] copy this web link and paste it into the address bar of your web browser. It will take you to the Emerson customer web page for the pdf copies of the SmartSet Clock/Radios. You will need a pdf reader and writer to read and make a copy of the owners manual for yourself.Find the make and model number of your Clock/Radio. The instructions for resetting the time after changing the battery will be in the manual. I hope this information helps you with your problem. Than you for using FixYa and have a nice day.

Wireless thermo clock not reading outside temp

I've had a similar problem with another model, an Oregon Scientific Model IWA-80055 Wireless Thermo Clock, in which when I replaced the batteries in the remote sensor, the clock would not read the temperature from the remote sensor.
I found it fairly consistent to solve this by taking a battery out of place in the clock and putting it back in.  Unfortunately this also messed up the clock's time and date.  This is also in the instructions catalogue for the device, check and see if yours gives a similar solution.

Westclox model 22717

Hi faulkquarter

I take it that the clock displayed with this problem if not a 22717 model. The one I have sighted is a digital clock. Generally, you need to hold down the "time" button and also press the "hours" and "mins" buttons at the same time to set the time. If this is not how your clock appears, please give me the button names and I can write a method of changing the time for you.

Resetting the atomic clock to the correct time zone, and outside temp to work.

For the Sharp SPC374T Atomic Clock - Time Zone setting- Press the 'Time' button once, the time zone will show where 'Day' usually is, use the Up or Down buttong to adjust.

For the outdoor Thermo, credit to my neighbor for this one. Remove battery from main unit, wait 2-3 minutes. Reload batteries. Once you get a reading from the outdoor sensor, hit the reset on the main unit. You will have to reset the time zone as described above, but this worked for me after 10 months of no outside temp showing up!

Good luck,
Doc
