I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing in watching programs on the TV. Since the screen says RGB, it appears that you've selected input as RGB(VGA, also known as PC input). If you have nothing connected to PC input (RGB), please change the input to HDMI or component or what ever it is by using the input button on the Remote of the TV.

In some TVs INPUT Button is labeled as TV/Video. Press it repeatedly to change the input from one to next.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

Getting a no RGB signal on my vizio tv model #E371VL any suggestions?

Try changing the input on the television with the remote or on the television control panel. Apparently you don't have anything plugged into the RGB connections.

I turn on the tv and i get a blue screen for 5 seconds and the tv shuts off. Any ideas?

This is normal on vizios, ours does it too. You have it switched onto RGB input. You need to change input after it comes on. Switch on and keep pressing change input button till it changes and then it will be fine. Alternatively plug in a computer on Rgb and then turn on, you will be able to change input normally.

Have a Vizio VX37L that when it is turned the

HERE'S THE FIX: I just went through this with my Vizio VX37L. TV is stuck in RGB input. This is the fix.... TV is stuck in RGB input.
(option 1) Power on TV, and press the INPUT button repeatedly and rapidly until you can change to a different input, such as AV.
If that doesn't work, try:
(option 2) With the TV off, press and hold the INPUT button on the side of the TV for about 5 seconds. The TV should power on and the input list will appear. The TV will no longer be locked, and the INPUT button should function properly after that.

Option 2 worked for me!

Stuck in RGB input.

i imagine your problem is over by now one way or another, but for anyone else experiencing this problem, thought i would share. your rgb input is tripped and needs to be reset, there are multiple things that "may" fix this, but the sure fire method is to connect a laptop to the rgb input, make sure you change your display settings on the laptop to "external monitor" and change the monitor selected in display settings on your computer. When the TV recieves a signal (which is what it is wating on and why it is frozen) it will then allow you to change input and will not turn off. Make sure your computer is running and all display settings are set before turning on tv so it does not time out and shut off before you can get it to pick up the signal

Somehow, the Input got switched to RGB,and now I can't get by the blue screen before TV (VIZIO) shuts itself off after posting a "NO SIGNAL". Is there any way to get past that blue screen so I can change...

the brand and model of the tv would have been helpful, but try connecting something to the rgb so it stays on, then use the remote to change the input on the menu or settings.
