Please insert the card into the card reader in your computer/laptop. If it works, then copy all the pics to the computer and then from My Computer, format this card. If it does not work, then you must try a different computer.
After you have saved your pics, you can even format it with your camera. All cameras have an option to format in the settings.

Have you formatted the card recently?
Sometimes file can become corrupt and won't allow the card to work.
If you can format it when inside the camera, try that. Just remember that you'll lose all your photos on the card.

Is Sandisk Ultra 8 GB SDHC card compatible with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30GN camera? When inserted in Camera error message check card flashes

No. The DMC-FZ30 was designed to work with SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they do not work. You'll have to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

What is the highest capacity memory card that I can use in my Panasonic DMC-TZ1?

Assuming you're using SD cards, they top out at 2GB. Cards larger than 2GB are SDHC and they will not work in the DMC-TZ1. So, you may use SD cards up to 2GB in size.

Were these cards from another camera and now you want to start using them in the Lumix? If so, you must format the card in the Lumix to get it to work. This will erase the card so download any pics first.

Memory cards have a limited life. If you've been using it a lot and erasing it or formatting it, it probably is just worn out. Take it to a camera shop and try a new card. If that works, go to a discount store and buy a new one. It will cost less than half the price of that of the camera shop.

"No Memory Card" Error Message

Hey there richman666, I have had similiar problems with card recognition in the past and the issue seems to have been related to a format problem occurring when you use other programs to alter contents of the card. I solved my problem by reformatting the card in the camera after I deleted all contents using a card reader connected to my computer. Alternately, you may want to try another smaller size card (512mb). Some cameras are not recognizing the new cards with larger memory. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
