A few months ago my LG Flatron L1900R monitor started flickering when I boot up my computer. It has become worse, to the point where it now flickers constantly.

Try another good monitor, if it solves the problem replace the monitor if not replace the computer.

The flickering is caused by parts called capacitors in the power supply failing. These parts help filter the power supply and when they start to fail they allow voltage fluctuations to pass through and this causes the flickering. If you can solder then you should be able to do the repair yourself. We have several guide posted on our web site at: www.ccl-la.com look in the monitor repair section. Open your monitor and replace all of the capacitors that have bulging tops and you should be bak going again. If you have any questions contact us through our web site.

Could be an incorrect driver. Try booting in Safe Mode (F8 while booting)

its the monitor its the main board may stuff up tomorrow may stuff up next week or in a years time hard to day as its only flickering take in for a check up
