Sir I have Nokia 5130 and I just flashed the software and after that when I inserted the Memory card it will ask for password, but I didn't apply any password on my memory card then why it asking for it. please let me know the solution for this. Thanks

Try with another memory card (if there is any), otherwise your only option is to get it flashed, means to re-install the Software of your phone. This happens when there's problem with operating system of your phone.

Flashing is the only solution, but anyway Remove Memory Card,Sim Card and reboot by inserting only the battery.Try it for 2-3 times.If the problem still persist better to contact mobile repairing shop or follow this trick.

First download and install Pheonix from this link. Nokia Phoenix Service Software 2011 - Download secondly Download flash file from this link 5130 flash file and install it to C / program files/pheonix.. after finished this installation open pheonix . Inside the interface at the> top left <there you see "File" click there and choose "open file" and then select the approprait Product type i.e "which is written on the back panel inside the battery of every Nokia(Type RM-000).After doing this again at the left top count from "File"1..2..3..the 4th one is "Flashing" press there, when you click there you'll see three sub-menus, just select the "Firmware Update" again you'll see another interface. Look at the product code there should be blank and put your "mouse tool" at the straight end from the "Product Code" there is a Button and choose the code which is written in the back side of your phone. e.g CODE:0000000.if the same code does not found just take one which is higher. After this you can see "Dead phone USB flashing" click that box. Now this is the last stage... Connect your phone with the USB to your PC and let the driver install ...wait for a moment.(If your phone working).Lastly after just finished (In case your phone is Dead, unable to switch on in normal mode start from here) Connect the phone to pc without powering...insert good battery and Click the "Referbish" button after this, a message will prompt you "press power botton" etc. insert charger or press it and wait until the phone will Restart automatically in normal mode 10-15 minutes. Some times it happens that you forgot the password of your memory card and you have lots of your important data in your phone.
So there are two types of methods for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of nokia phone.



For Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones.
1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.
2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore
3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
4. At the end of the file you will find your password.


For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series
There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.
The remote lock option in E-Series phone allows you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.
The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools ' Settings ' Security ' Phone and SIM ' Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.
So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card password.

Download FE Explorer from the link http://fexplorer.en.softonic.com/download/25347

Insert card into your phone but don't access it through phone.

Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.

You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt

Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.

You will find your password in that file.

I have seen this kind of problems with the Nokia 5130, I flashed the Nokia 5130 by taking it to Mobile Service Center. Now it's working fine, everything is working as expected! So please flash it by taking to any Mobile Service Center.

sir connect your cellphone to the pc and copy the datas to the pc then you format the memory card to remove the default password..................

just try to formate your phone like this code : *#7780# than input sequrity code is : 12345 than solw your problem

sir it is strange to hear that even resetting to factory settings did not work.....in your case i would suggest that you should format your cell and start a fresh......also copy any important data from your memory card and then format that too......some virus might be infecting your card as well as your phone...so remeber only after you have formatted the phone , insert your formatted card.....your phone should be alright with this..
