It sounds as if the LCD matrix has an issue most likely dust. Have you tried cleaning the Matrix itself? I can send you the LCD matrix cleaning instructions for a sony just send me a email at [email protected] and I can send them to you as a pdf file.

The best way to go about this would be if I send you the service manual which has detailed disassembly instructions with pictures. Please let me know whats your ID so that I can send it to you.

Matt, The best place for the screen is going to be Ebay, look under faulty Philips mp3 players, bid on one that is faulty but has good screen.
With this unit you can practise the strip down and rebuild before you attempt your own player.

What camera are we talking about here? Have you tried resetting the camera?

If this happens for only some games, you should try cleaning the discs with a disc cleaner. Otherwise, you could try asking around at stores like circuit city, radioshack, best buy, etc. for what you could use to clean the lens, the part that reads the disc in your gamecube. If that doesn't work, chances are that the lens is damaged and your only hope is to send it in for repairs or get a new gamecube (or Wii).
