At error code is 12 and it is your 12-volt supply. Measure from the inverter to the power supply for 24 volts pins 1,2 and 3. If you don't have the 24 volts disconnect the inverters from the power supply and see if the volts come up. If the 24 volts come up replace the inverters. If the 24 volts are still not there replace the power supply. The volts have to be steady and not going up and down if they are replace the power supply. But if the 24 volts are there with the inverters connected 1M03 pin 3 for 3.2 volts. If the 3.2 volts are not there replace the small signal board. The only way to get a manual is to find it on line or call the manufacture.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Hi, Unplug the unit from the outlet for at least 1 hour and check if the symptoms persists. If yes, check if the unit can give an error code by following the steps below. - Power on the unit and wait until the initialization takes place. - Press the front panel "Input" and "Menu" buttons at the same time and hold it for 5 seconds, it will activate the error code mode. LED flashes a two digit error code. Example, if the error code is "22" the LED will flashes two times pause and then flashes two times and will repeat the error code for 5 times. "12" means no error has occured. Please let me know what will be the result to assist you further. Regards,[email protected]
3. When red power light starts blinking--COUNT THE BLINKS.
4. THREE BLINKS, pause, THREE BLINKS (ETC) IS SHORT PROTECTION AND A DO IT YOURSELF repair for some people. I have complete instructions for this repair.
5. 5 blinks, pause and 5 blinks etc is short on 140 volt line and while not as easy as 3 blink error code it points to places to look at.
If this told you something you did not know, rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.
Post a comment here when you know what error code is and I will help.
Unfortunately 5 blinks is a LCD panel error. The only way to fix it is to replace the whole LCD panel. This is the most expensive part in the TV. part number: 1-802-488-12 List price: $1336.32 Core charge: 1790.00 You could try to replace it yourself but would need to take the whole TV apart by first taking off the back cover, then removing all the boards in order to get to the panel before putting it back together but I would just recommend buying a new TV as the price of the repair exceeds the price of a new TV of the same size.
When it shuts off. Try doing what's called a self-diagnostic test. As soon as the television shuts try these steps.
Pressing on the front panel's ?INPUT? and ?MENU? buttons at the same time, and holding for 5 seconds, activates the Self Diagnostic Code Mode. The LED flashes denoting a two digit Error Code, or indicating no problem has occured since the last Initalization.
Please do Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.
? The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code. ? The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second. ? The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code. ? The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times. Example: If the Error Code is ?24?, the LED will flash two times, pause, and then flash four times.
The Error Code designations indicating a malfunction, or no malfunction, are listed below: Self Diagnosic Code Description 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source).
most of the time the convergance ic go bad: but try this:
The 3 flashes of the led when you plug the unit in is the
microprocessor initializing.
This unit has an error code diagnostics.
On the front panel of the unit press and hold the INPUT and MENU
buttons at the same time and hold them down for about 5 or 6 seconds.
The unit should activate it's error code mode.
The led will flash count the number of flashes. It will then pause for
1/2 or 1 second. The led will flash again count the number of flashes.
The unit will repeate this for about 5 or 6 times.
You now have the two digit error code. The first time the led flashed
is the first number of the error code, the next time the led flashed is
the last number of the error code.
